Cons -
- A steep spiral staircase a little challenging for us, but OK.
- I didn’t like the fact that there was not staff available in person to answer questions. The hotel is more like an air bnb. The hotel needs to be upfront about this as the website does not mention this although they indicate that check-in instructions will be sent. I had some questions at the end of my stay that were not answered.
- Stairs difficult, especially with luggage, although one member of staff was very helpful with suitcases.

Great location, lovely room, good breakfast, friendly staff.Evening meal excellent.
Stairs difficult, especially with luggage, although one member of staff was very helpful with suitcases.
Very close the National park and also in town close to restaurants and shopping. The room was very comfortable and cozy.
The restaurant was never open that we saw. Maybe because it was the off-season.
We did not like the room,as the ceilings were very low, but they made every effort to change our room for the last night of our stay. The staff were very accommodating.Good bicycle secure storage.
The breakfast was expensive for what was on offer. The bathroom light was on a sensor so if you used the toilet in the night the entire room lit up disturbing others in the room.
A delightful place to stay close to the National park and the Kroller-Muller art gallery. Otterlo is an attractive village on the edge of heathland and woodland.Apeldoorn and Het Loo palace easily reached. Good bus services. The hotel is comfortable and has very good clean rooms. My bed was wonderfully sleep-inducing. There are very welcoming lounges for guests to enjoy and the breakfasts are plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Brasserie is very warmly decorated and stylishly lit and is deservedly very popular. The standard of the cooking is EXCEPTIONAL - contemporary, but not in the way that leaves you hungry, and you will also find beautifully crafted desserts too that you'd pay twice as much for in a lesser restaurant. The staff also attend to the little details of top class service. Make sure you book your dinners here!
All was great.
The location is perfect for visiting the national park, a short walk away. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was lovely in the Bistro and at breakfast.
Lack of an elevator to carry luggage.
Room was clean but small, no shampoo in the bathroom, view on a parking lot, breakfast delicious and staff very helpfull
Room was very small with poor sound insulation. Also stairs which lead to the room are extremely narrow. But hotel is very close to national patk and very clean with deliciou food.
Nice room with view, friendly staff and good location near the park
The room was large and had a balcony facing the street. There was plenty of light and a relaxing view. There was a coffee machine in the room to make your own coffee. The location is also very convenient to access the National Park (it is walking distance to one of the park main entrances).
Breakfast is expensive and does not have a lot of options if you like a sweet breakfast (e.g., a simple cake would be nice to add). The stairs to the rooms are pretty steep, especially if you travel with an active toddler. Our bathroom was full of ants (it could be the proximity to the park, but it is not great).
Such a convenient place to stay....bus stops a short walk away from hotel. Het Nationale Park de Hogue Velowe is at the end of the street making this a great place to stay if you are heading for the Kroller Muller museum or just to spend some time in the park. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We felt the beds were a little soft for our liking, but everyone is different and enjoys a different level of firmness. Otherwise loved everything about this place!
Nice rooms and location.
No soundproofing. You can hear everything through the door.

Nice room, comfortable beds and nice location. Self check was convenient but we prefer a normal check in. We were told our room was on the first floor via a messsge and as Americans we thought that was great since this reasonable hotel did not have an elevator. In Europe 0 is the main floor! We are glad we are traveling with “carry on luggage” but the circular staircase was a little bit of a challenge …even with a small suitcase. Travel light when you visit Europe.
We really enjoyed the breakfast! Thanks! The bed was very comfortable and the b&b is walking distance away from de Veluwe, and since we brought the dog that was excellent.
The automatic bathroom lights we didn't like, during the night I like it to stay dark and it went on and stayed on very long every time someone had to use the facilities.
Building itself looked outdated but the rooms are nicely renovated. Breakfast was (very) good and they even had oatmilk for poeple who cannot have milk or eat vegan
Convenient location, cozy vibe of the hotel, nice lounge room downstairs, very clean rooms
I booked two identical Family rooms for 3 persons each. Upon arrival the rooms were prepared for 2 ppl each, and one room was smaller than advertised. They quickly added +1 bed and linen to each room, but later they tried to charge us for an extra person per room and I had to waste a lot of time to prove we've reserved for 3 and paid the correct price. Returning the money overpaid for a 34 sq.m. room, while we got a smaller one - was refused. Breakfast is overpriced: for 17.50 pp you have good quality products but way too limited options to choose from. And the humiliation of having to boil eggs for yourself and just stand and watch it for 5 min so that no one else takes your egg?? No option for omelette btw. Cutting your own vegetables etc. - I have no problem doing it - but not when I paid that price. Overall, at the price paid for the rooms, I would expect more tbh. And definitely, other places I've seen at this price - have more personnel to take care of guests/attend to the reception. The place seems understaffed/trying to save by having less personnel.Unfortunately, although overall seemingly a nice place - those little details make me think of it as an unpleasant stay.

Room and location are good. We liked everyone on the friendly staff. Everyone was helpful.
Breakfast seemed pricey. The automatic flashing on bathroom light was annoying in the middle of the night. There should be a way to turn it off.Maybe there is but we didn't know.
