Great location if you like something quiet and peaceful. Nice room and value for money. Very good breakfast. Good facility. Friendly and helpful staffs. Good restaurants nearby even though not so many choices.

We travelled with three big luggage and got a room on the the 3rd floor. There is no elevator, so not easy and convenient to bring luggage up and down to the 3rd Fl. via stairs with slope.

We stayed at the secondary building which was excellent, quiet & calm.Nice room with a small balcony, clean & comfortable. Exactly what we needed for 1 night stay.Very good and varied breakfast.

We were in what I think was the updated modern rooms, which were clean and comfortable.

Parking is a little tight and it helps to advise management that you’ll need parking.

lthe location of hotel was perfect.close to train station, bus stops and if you want to visit caves it was perfect.it is just on the coast of lake. can take ferry directly to hallstat.breakfast was also nice

The place is amazing, very peaceful and beautiful. The room is wonderful and very modern. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The breakfast delicious with a lot of options. And is very near to visit Hallstat.Everything was perfect y beautiful.I will come again.

Cleanliness

Tiny bathroom, no toiletries except hand and body soap and toilet paper. Not even a face tissue. Bed is two steps away from bathroom and even the soap pump sounds are audible from the bedroom. No AC. And no lift. The ramp built for suitcases are not good enough, with this amenities the price seems to high and even they charged for parking separately and check out is at 10:30 am

Newly remodeled. Wonderful staff who greeted us and helped us throughout our stay. The room was stunning and clean with high ceilings and a great view. A lovely breakfast was served in the morning. The staff was very friendly and willing to help.They helped us to find the boat that would take us across the lake to Hallstatt and explained how to catch the bus at the end of the day back to their hotel. The staff actually went above and beyond to help us.

I have no complaints at all about this hotel. It is about a eight minute walk from the train station to the hotel.

The views, family room was new, however could not find controls for heating and the bathroom was cold. Facilities - pool, table tennis, fooseball and badminton rackets to use free of charge which is great. Right by the lake and lake park which is perfect for kids

The matresses are stone hard ? we all had back problems. Could not find any heating controls, the bathroom was cold constantly while showering. Son was freezing. The breakfast was good, but the same every day. Some variety would be good - warm meats like breakfast sausage, bacon or ham would be good alongside the scrambled eggs. They could also create a DIY omelette stationNo restaurant. There are only two restaurant options nearby, one is overpriced and the other - the Italian pizzaria calls itself a bowling alley but they removed the bowling alley so false advertising....and the food - was mediocre at best. Do not order the pizza, its by far the worst pizza ive had in my life. Completely flavourless other than saltThey have enough space to provide vending machines for food and drinks. There was one vending machine which offered next to nothing. It was basically empty the whole stay and not refilled. They should have a mini-store like the neighbor resort and offer up food for dinner even if it is just a few options as there isn't much around.

The location from Vienna was really straight forward. We paid 12 Euroesfor the parking space and it worth it they let us to left the car there in the check out day till 3pm. You can get into the hallstadt city by boat with 17 Euroes from thre or by car(sometimes is quit busy), and even option by bike.

The bed wasn't designed for tall people. My foot was out of the end edge of the bed. But still wasnt a big issue

Decent breakfast, very good staff and nice room. Value for what you pay. Near to bus stop but I went in a car and had paid parking at the hotel. There is excellent Pizzeria near by. If you are planning to travel by car then make sure you move out of the hotel max by 9:15 Am so that you get parking spot in Halstatt city centre parking (P2).

the hotel was amazing surrounding by mountain and lake. the girl in reception was very nice and friendly, the host also very kind and fast response. The breakfast had a good quality and everything was delicious. The outdoor pool was very private and beautiful surrounding by the trees. The room was clean, cozy and very comfy, it feels like at home, we really loved the view in a small balcony. The room have a fridge, coffee machine, also electric kettle. If you use a public transport, the bus stop and the train station (Obertraun) just a few couple steps away. There is a lakeside park for children.

Room was clean and modern, good location (short bus ride to Hallstatt, much quieter compared to staying in Hallstatt) with beautiful surrounding mountains. Heating is good. Breakfast decent spread. Parking lots were convenient
