Pros +
- Nice, larger hotel in Heiligenblut which is at the Southern end of the Grossglockner Strasse. Room was large and of good standard. Actual hotel building has a lift and parking access right at the lift entrance. Bar and restaurant area very cozy. The village is only a few short minutes walk away with several restaurant options.
- Very friendly staff, good room with balcony overlooking the valley.Quiet and parking at the property, very practical.Easy walking distance from the village and ski lift.I'd definitely go back again.
- Right in the mountains!! Very spacious rooms. We did half board and the food was incredible. It is such a lovely family owned hotel. The spa is insane.
Cons -
- Room is a bit overpriced but all hotels in Heiligenblut are quite expensive.
- Seems more like a three star hotel.
- Beds a bit hard to sleep on.

How well we were looked after. The overall friendly atmosphere in the hotel. The meals (we had half-board). The downstairs spa.
This hotel was a bit odd in that it seemed stuck somewhere in the mid 90s. You know, appliances in the yellowed-white color of an old PC. Two-handle faucets (and not the thermostatic kind). Everything is well used (but nothing is broken or dirty). This isn't necessarily a positive or negative - some might find it charming, but don't expect the most modern amenities.
Seems more like a three star hotel.
Perfect location with a really nice mountain view. Service was excellent with personal engagement. Owner moved his electric car to make room for us to charge our EV over night. Breakfast and evening menu excellent.
Beds a bit hard to sleep on.
Well located, beautiful view, comfortable, friendly staff and did everything to have a good stay
The hotel needs a bit of a refreshing, as the restaurant, bar and reception are a bit too old fashioned. It feels as we haven’t left the 80’s !
The staff was super kind and helpful, felt welcome from the very first moment.Great location - 300m from the ski lift - clean and cosy rooms with great view.Three choices for dinner menu and last but least the thermarium (sauna) is spectacular.
there is nothing we didn't like

The buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed the half board dinner. The rooms were very clean. View from the balcony was beautiful.
Awesome place, nice hosts, reacted on our last minute reservation instantly, very good room. Place is quiet despite of large amount of guests, very good breakfast.
