Heban Hotel

It was historic , very comfortable . It is self buzz keypad , very easy to use and any help I needed was quick and friendly . They have a fantastic breakfast . We loved staying here right in the heart of old town . Would highly recommend !

Everything - the staff in particular were fantastic and inredibly helpful. Location was awesome too.

Honestly being in an attic room killed me on the stairs with no lift BUT, i knew that going in. The building was traditional and the gorgeous staircase was well worth it. And one of the cleaning staff volunteered to help with my suitcase when she saw I was struggling half way up. I felt guilty but I took the assistance.

The location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. We particularly appreciated the pleasant and professional communication from the reception staff, which made both check-in and check-out processes seamless. The PIN code access to the room was a highly convenient feature, simplifying entry. Our room was spacious with a charming, old-town-like interior, truly enhancing the historical atmosphere.

The breakfast was quite modest, especially when compared to similar-level hotels we've experienced in Poland. We also found a shortage of power outlets in the room, and those available were inconveniently placed. A more personal discomfort was the narrow toilet seat, which was surprisingly uncomfortable. A significant concern was the limited staff presence, as it appeared the reception was only staffed until noon, leaving the hotel without personnel afterward. This raises questions about assistance needs in the evening and created uncertainty regarding luggage storage after check-out, as it's unclear how access would be granted once the entry code expires.

The location was perfect- right in the Old Town. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.Comfy beds.Good free breakfast

The walls were paper thin and we cohld hear the people talking next door and their television.

Amazing well maintained medival building,in the city centre,great fullfilling breakfast with big variety of food and excellent coffee.

Nice Hotel right in the Center of Tolun.The hotel is a typical building in a very quiet area.You feel like home!

The hotel is very beautiful. It is located in the city center. There are many restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel is very modern and you get all checkin information by email in advance. I think it is very good for short stays

I didn't understand how the room cleaning takes place. The shower door is very small and the bathroom gets wet.

Atmosphere, room size (huge), decent breakfast (really good coffee). Parking at the doorstep.Location (!)

Code entry is probably OK, but it would be nice to have someone in the reception on arrival.Modern times, I suppose... Bed not too good for my spine, but survivable.

Curtains did not remotely cover the windows and the shower sprayed water all over the bathroom

On a quiet side street from the main pedestrian street in the old town. It was very roomy with modern facilities and a very good breakfast.

Breakfast coffee is not very good. The lightening in the room is not good (it is quite difficult to read a book in the evening).

The hotel was located within walking distance to the Main Street and Old Town. Parked right outside the hotel for 50zl per day. Room was very clean, quiet and relaxing. Had English TV stations available. The biggest joy was breakfast! Outstanding.

The best hotel we have ever slept at! Huge room (#1), tastefully decorated, great bathroom, old-style yet modern, comfortable and functioning. Very central, a few minutes walk to the old town city square. The breakfast was also good.

The parking arrangement were not entirely clear from the description at Booking but there is good public parking nearby at Dominikanska 9. The hotel has only two reserved slots in the street in front of the building.

Well located and friendly staff. Spacious room. Smallish but adequate bathroom. It had a freeBreakfast which we were not counting on and it was delicious so that was a nice surprise.

The lighting in the room is horrendous. It’s very dim with several missing lightbulbs and it made it very difficult to read in the room. The decorations are very old world and we could only figure out how to get one channel on the TV and it was in Polish.

The air conditioning was wonderful and we were able to be checked in early so they contacted us to let us know and when I asked for extra pillow and some coffee, the gal who checked us in made sure we had both of those things right away

Stairs but a minor inconvenience The bathroom look nice, but the shower didn’t really work. And the sink is put together poorly, and if you didn’t run the water a little higher, it just stripped behind the basin didn’t give much space to put anything just needs to be reconfigured

I definitely like its location, hotel is situated in the heart of old city, and far from traffic streets. Room was clean, everything needed was there. Fridge was useful for storing cakes and beer. Staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious. I like automatic code system when there are no need to have physic keys for hotel room.

Some spots on curtains and some spots on the walls confused me a bit. There was not shelf for shampoo in shower. Since hotel is in old building there are no elevator there. This could be confusing for people with disabilities or with deseases. Anyway that complaints are minor.

Location and the room

It was advertised with WiFi but WiFi does not work on the third floor and that is known to the staff

Location, historical atmosphere, good breakfast, flexibility - they offered changing a room when air condition in our work was not working.

The location of the Heban is excellent and breakfast was very good except the coffee machine.the room no 9 was massive and good to hang out for my parents and me and my little son.

Room no7 have broken lock in the door so you cannot lock the door from the inside. Big no no. I have 3years old toddler who can manage to open the door by himself so I had to block the door with the chair. The rain shower head was not working. One of the LED lights blinking in the bathroom. Tv in the room didn’t work as well..no programs accessible. We were there for 3 days..2 full nights and rooms were not cleaned..trashed overflowing from the bin left for 48h including dirty diapers. To add up no one obviously replenished Tea or coffee or toiletries(only little bar soap and small packets of shower gel/shampoo)Room no 9 Internet didn’t work at all and room no 7 Internet worked on and off. The only highlight was the very good breakfast but coffee machine is old making 1 espresso for prolonged time and can’t make latte or cappuccino
