Cons -
- The room is pretty old, bathroom is small, table needs repair. But still it was functional, clean and very nice in total. We liked it.The place is well maintained.
- I’m not sure but my little daughter got bug bites or allergy after staying at this place.
- We had the (bad) luck that there was a bigger group in the floor above us which turned our experience more into a hostel or high school class trip experience in term of noise. It got a little quieter after the asked the receptionist to speak to them (at 11 pm or so). The walls were paper-thin.The breakfast was a bit sparse. The ham smelled a bit old (not rotten yet but old) and the choices were a bit limited. It might be that there is more during the main season.

Beautiful view from the room , big space, location was perfect

We spend one night in the hotel and it was ok for a night. The room was clean, a kettle for tea was provided. The hotel was close to the bus station, thus, easy to find and reach.

The night manager was quick to move us to another room when we noted the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Very pleasant person and apologetic.
Cleaning staff didn't note that previous occupants had smoked in the room. Cigarette smell was fairly overpowering. The night manager was quick to fix the problem, but the cleaning staff should have already had it resolved. The hotel room was reasonably clean by American standards - but not nearly as clean as the other hotels and guesthouses we stayed at in Iceland.
Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms.
Restaurant is a little bit limited but still good options.
Very good room size. Everything is clean. Very quiet location, beds are comfortable. Food from restaurants are nice.
Very good breakfast. Clean and spacious room.
Unfortunately, our room request was not read. Despite our request for a quiet room, we were given a room overlooking the building site and the street instead of out the back.
Very quiet room. Very basic and comfortable. Breakfast included was basic but good.
Nice staff telling us they were sorry about the room situation. The boss couldn’t be reached.
We did not get the room we booked and only knew that at the property. Very disappointing. We ordered a family room and got a room with one double bed .
Convenience on ring road and breakfast included. Having a restaurant onsite worked well after a big day of travel and site seeing.

Nice staff, the room is big, fair breakfast included, there is a lift
The place could use some renovation
The hotel was located right next to Route One and a short drive from some tourist attractions.
The hotel rooms looked a bit run down. One of the light bulbs was not working when we checked in. A staff member helped fix it upon our request.
The staff is great. Excellent service reception at and dinner. Dinner exceeded expectations by serving freshest cod and perfect foal. Facilities are basic but in good condition.
Breakfast was rather basic, but tasty. No refrigerator in the room.
We were given a room on the third floor, thankfully there was a lift. The room was spacious, bed was comfy. Breakfast was varied and plenty of it. Excellent friendly staff. Great stay, recommended.
All good.
We booked this hotel a bit last minute due to a storm hitting us in our around Iceland roadtrip and even if it was lastminute, everything was ready and prepared for us.The room had a good size and the food was good both for diner and breakfast.
It was mostly very pleasant to stay there. The only point to highlight would be the "aging" look of the hotel but it is confortable and we slept well which is what you want on a roadtrip.
Nice room with big and comfy bed.it was quiet but then we were the only guests.
The shower had hairs in the drainage.
Great location. Very clean. Lovely staff.
Very limited options for evening meal.
Comfortable and clean hotel. Good breakfast and very very nice owners ❤️
