The view and location is perfect. Pool is very good and clean. Restaurant - one of the best ever ?

The swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Not dry spa.

The check in took too long. Eggs at breakfast were cold.

Location wasn't so good for people to explore local area without a car, but a sea view to recover from my cold was the best I could have asked for so thank you.

Spa/Pool was lovely.Evening meal (as part of package) was very good - better than I expected.

The restaraunt menu had no English version, and none of the staff spoke English.

Friendly staff. Nice restaurant. Amazing view from our bedroom. Water dispensers on every floor.

Meals were extraordinary!! Delicious!!

Our only issue was that the familiar room did not have terrace nor the possibility to hang towels or swimsuits, which was uncomfortable in a highly humid environment.

Staff were friendly and helpful! Location is great to explore locally or just go for a walk!

Some details were worn/broken/dated. Children running around screaming!

Only redeeming feature of this place is the food and the staff in the restaurant.

Spa was not a spa it was a small pool and an over chlorinated jacuzzi. Only allowed in the 45 mins and had to buy and wear a swim hat. Location is in the middle of nowhere with nothing else to do

We didn't like the noise from the wedding party. The food was bad quality, the coffee served at breakfast was very bad and set the tone for most of the food, except the cheese cake, which was delicious and recommended by a very nice waitress. The spa was outdated and badly equipped. There wasn't even the facilities to make a cup of tea in the room; something that is standard in most hotels, even 2 star hotels.

Great location over looking a sandy cove. Wonderful walks along the seashore. Accommodating staff and very good restaurant serving locally caught fishVery good one night stop for the Santander Portsmouth ferry.

Great, quiet location on the beach - though we were there in the quiet season.Not far from Santander so easy journey to the ferry port.Good value for money.Lots of free parking when we were there - though in the summer you'd need the hotel parking which is a bit of a walk.Room overlooking the breach was great.Lovely staff - especially on reception.

Hotel in its quiet season does host school groups and groups of young people. Bit noisy in the early evening in the reception and on the terrace but no sound from them at night.

Massive,noisy function which we should have been notified of.Some kids were out of control,and my wife was knocked into twice. We were put into cafeteria for dinner,where it was full of young boys for a football match. the noise was unbelievable,why were other guests allowed to eat in dining room?

Rooms were very nice and we took advantage of the spa. We eat there in the evening as there aren’t many places to choose from in the area. And we all enjoyed the meal.

Breakfast was poor. And the cooked food was Cold. There was one particular bar man who should not be in the service industry. He was so grumpy. When I mentioned it to the other staff they commented he always is. I’m sure you’ll know who I mean.

Well built and sound-proofed, spacious with good cafe and restaurant. Pleasant view of sea inlet from balcony, which was very small. Excellent breakfast.

On our second visit we again encountered noisy family celebrations leading to great difficulty in accessing the hotel entrance with baggage from car. Received very cold welcome from Reception staff when we eventually managed to reach them. Throughout our stay, we always had difficulty in car parking. No secure car parking whatsoever, all open to public, and at best, only along public highway fronting the beach. The hotel’s only car park is 500 yards away, out of sight, with additional setback of being on a very lengthy suburban one-way system. Inadequate signage to find the hotel which is located amongst suburban dwellings. We would not return for a third time.

Near the sea, good size rooms.

Spa arrangements. Small area, overcrowded. The say you must buy a swimming hat. In spa area no dressingrooms, you need to change in toilet. Also 1 open shower for all. They give you 45 minutes for spa, but 15 min was enaugh.

Great location for ferry port.Nice clean comfortable hotel.

Have always paid for our accommodation at the hotel in the past, however this time they took the payment from my credit card prior to arrival, which incurs a foreign exchange charge, which we would prefer not to have.The waiters in the coffee bar could not speak very much English, it was even difficult to obtain a English menu from them, which they do have !!!The breakfast was not up to the standard we have had in the past, the hot food was left uncovered, and consequently was not hot.Selection was not as varied as usual. All looked very sparse.Evening meal was good, but no accompanying veg or potatoes with the fish or meat.

Stayed her before and would do again.

Had a coach tour staying and they had entertainment with loud music until midnight.

Great location. Decor is atmospheric, if not the most modern. Friendly staff, good sense of humour with guests who have only “ugly Spanish”

did not used the spa because you had to schedule. then try using the jacuzzi in the room and it did not work.

The beds are a little tift.

Location was lovely right opposite the beach. Also great place to stay if catching the ferry from Santander as only 15 minutes away from the port. Restaurant food was very good but a bit overpriced for the size of the portions.

It was a bit outdated and tired looking. The sauna was not working and was charged 3€ each for a swimming cap that was required for the swimming. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel you had to drive somewhere else as nothing else was open.
