    Pros +

    • Location. Closeness to tons of wineries. Staff was amazing. Very clean
    • The location was quiet and near places we wanted to visit, LaGuardia, wineries.Elena at the front desk went out of her way to accommodate us when we arrived late due to car issues. She also helped reschedule winery visits-VERY MUCH appreciated!!!
    • Staff, location, knowledge of wineries in Rioja and help in getting reservations, restaurant was outstanding.

    Cons -

    • Distance from restaurants and limited options for food at he hotel
    • I was interested in the modern architecture but we found the hotel cold with some poor design. Our room opened partially onto the top stairs of the stairway, the battery in the safe box was dead, one of the ceiling lights was dead. Neither were repaired during our two night stay. The stairway walls consisted of chain link as used in fencing giving the hotel a prison feel. The patio had no privacy with a neighboring building looking down on to it. The neighboring building had an outdoor spotlight the shown into our room.
    • Phone didn’t work and took forever to get replaced. Some outlets didn’t work.

    Design was beautiful

The shower,no place to put soap and shampoo. Not a fan of the lighting system.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the wine list and we particularly loved the Cove they have with a Jacuzzi for a romantic evening. Loved the ambiance and how the hotel seems like new, even though I visited over 10 years ago.

    Location. Quirky.

More like staying a modern art gallery. Our room had a shower area where you could sit on bed and watch people shower! A bit strange. We cellotaped a towel to the glass panel for privacy. But that may say more about us!!

Location in a very cute village Overall design & decoration Comfortable bed Despite not having a pool, you are able to access to public pool located next to the hotel

Inattentive serviceFirst room that we were given too got not working light, we then had to move to another room Breakfast could be improved

Perfect stay, very nice place and friendly staff! Breakfast was really good, room was super nice, big and modern, clean as well.

The Hotel is good. Interesting design. The room was good, not big, but comfortable. The bed was nice. Complimentary glass of wine and water in the room.

There were some ants in the room on the floor during the day. For me is ok. The village/town where hotel located is interesting, but no any supermarket and good restaurant outside of the hotel. Just two taverns.

Excellent restaurant. Stunning location. Secure parking area .Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable priced local wines .

Bedroom lighting was too dark in the evening. Breakfast is a bit one dimensional and not at the same standard as the evenings.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful and interesting hotel for the art lover. Lovely dinner with great wine suggestions. The walking wine tour they organised in the little town was perfect. Great surroundings for walks and drives.

    It was arty

It was dark only for younger people

    Disappointing

Resturant was not good -expensive and disappointingVery small portions and they charged for everything eg olive oil that was already on the table. Main came with no carbs or vegetables and by the time they had found some parties it was cold Bed was in a window so no headboard and nowhere to sit

Impressive architecture. Wonder how the villagers see the hotel?

Really poor service. The directions to the hotel can’t be found on the website. Every app sends you in the wrong direction. Simple solution is to mail arriving guests good directions. When we finally arrived, we wanted to check in. The employee wasn’t very interested to say the least. A lady, we guessed the manager, tried to make up for this. We were offered a welcome drink. At checking out we noticed our drinks had being charged. The worst however was the lack of interest. For the prices there you would expect more

    Go anywhere else.

Dull, dark, dingy, old poorly maintained bare concrete building. Had to wear head torch to read in bedroom. Restaurant was overpriced poorly cooked food served by uncaring staff. Staff not interested. Didn’t offer to help with luggage or anything else. My wife’s tempura cod was raw in the middle. My glass of red wine cast €6 and was smaller than I got in a wine tasting.

The hotel is designed with so much good taste. The modern design of all areas is spectacular. The rooftop views are wonderful and the staff were very helpful and polite. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed.

No offerings for a snack lunch or snack dinner, but this seems to be common amongst hotels in this area.

Very cool and welcoming hotel in a wonderful wine region. Been coming here now for over 10 years. Never get tired of it. Great wine shop too!

Excellent bed, room and breakfast in this small town. Parking space is large. The only complaint is that the wifi is very limited. You have to stay in the lobby for wifi.

    Wifi.

Great hotel in the middle of a beautiful town. Surrounded of wineries and mountains. A lot of history in this area. Nice stuff, nice experiences and a great hotel.
