    Pros +

    • The service, view, room, pool and location
    • Disappointed to receive single beds after reserving double.
    • It was lovely being just outside Granada. After visiting the Alhambra it was nice to return to the tranquility of the Cerro del Sol and have a swim.

    Cons -

    • Disappointed to receive single beds after reserving double
    • We didn't book in for dinner on the first night as we didn't receive the Whats App as we were travelling so went to a restaurant in Cenes de la Vega which was excellent. However, the hill back to the Cerro del Sol is steep! Cerro meaning Mount should have given us a clue. Location is within a housing estate. Evening meal the following day at the hotel was distinctly average.
    • I would rate the breakfast a 7 out of 10. No omlettes and the bread was made from frozen dough. There is enough of a variety to get you going in the morning, as there are not that many breakfast places in the vicinity.

The host was very nice and informative. The room was pretty big, clean and with a nice view of the mountain. It's a bit further from the city but closer to Sierra Nevada, so perfect if you plan to head out to the mountains.

Host was very helpful, helped us reserve alhambra tickets which wehad trouble finding any. Room is excellent and the view from the pool is great, location is outside the city in a quiet town (big plus for us), but well connected through bus or 15 euro taxi.

Nothing much, water was cut off the morning we were checking out so couldn’t have a shower, staff was helpful and thankfully brought water for us. Also the hotel is on a steep hill, so the walk from and to the bus station could be a workout (not for the weak), wasn’t an issue for us most of the time

It was an amazing stay, we will definitely come back! It is a beautiful place with amazing people, clean, comfy, breakfast is delicious ?

The hotel was taken over by a new company in 2022 and I can only recommend it. The whole place feels great and really has a soul. The interior is classy, lots of decoration and small details. And the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. From the balcony you can enjoy the view over the valley. Staff is super nice and makes you feel at home. Yes the location is a bit outside but you know that if you have looked at a map before. There is a bus stop just down the hill that takes you directly to Granada city center and goes every 10 minutes or you take a taxi for 12€ if you don’t want to take the car yourself. It’s nice and quiet so you can really relax.

Quiet location with easy parking (though there only limited spaces). Excellent location for short taxi ride to the Alhambra.

Small family hotel. Hard to find & away from the center a bit. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel decorated nicely. Staff lovely. Breakfast fine. Drinks expensive in bar. Dining room small but really nice

The price of drink & a bit off the beaten track.

    8ElainePosted on: 10-16-2024

Very clean. Comfortable room. A fifteen minute drive into Granada centre. Staff were very friendly..

Breakfast was very basic. We would have liked a bit more choice.

Great little boutique hotel, nothing too much trouble for the front of house staff. Ate in the restaurant, food was superb.

Apart from the location there was nothing to detract from this hotel.

Wonderful staff, rooms , views, pool and terrace

Nice and small hotel with friendly staff, that tries to be there for you at each step. Located in a quite street off the main street with a nice view of the mountain. Even thought location looks a bit outside of Granada, it's actually well connected for visiting the Alhambra.

Breakfast was definitely disappointing in terms of options, which is probably due to the low number of visitors they have. Dinner is definitely not a good option there, for the same reason. For some reason there was a lot of noise (shooting in the mountains, helicopters and some kind of music from a restaurant).

    9PhilipPosted on: 9-12-2024

Very helpful informative reception. Good breakfast buffet. Off road parking. In a quiet superb with bus access to city centre. Great Mountain View. Outside terrace and pool area very clean and tidy.

There was nothing to dislike. For information it is halfway up a steep hill.

    10AnnePosted on: 9-11-2024

Nice og cozy little hotel with a very helpful staff. Very clean. The room was comfortable and with a little terrace with a view to the mountains.

It is necessary with a car or a taxi to go to the centre of Granada. But we expected that. So every thing was fine.

    9DeborahPosted on: 8-1-2024

The hotel is beautiful with great amenities. Our room had a nice view of the town and mountains. Nice breakfast, fabulous dinner (book ahead), refreshing pool, great staff.

The great view comes with a steep hike up the hill to the property, but that’s not really a complaint. By the time that’s a consideration you already know about the hill and you can easily take a taxi and avoid it.

We liked the privacy of it! It was pristine clean and the administrator was a very welcoming person! The pool was very nice as well! The proximity to Granada was great, but Cenes de la Vega (place where they are located) should be advertised more and same with Pinos Genil, both have a lot to offer!

The restaurant doesn’t prepare its food there and it’s way too overpriced. I didn’t appreciate that right after we left the hotel with our kid, they changed its settings to “adults only” when it was advertised as a child friendly hotel.
