Hotel New Skanpol

The reception desc staff was very friendly. We could even check I. A bit earlier when the room was ready.The breakfast buffet was good although the juices were not a real juice just some sweet drinks.The pool was supervised and everything was clen.The water dispenser in the corridor was very practical.

The chemicals that they are cleaning with have a extremely strong smell, we had to open all windows to make it bearable. Would be nice to have a kettle to boil water in the room. The heating was a bit low. But it's just looking for something to complain about. In general It was a really nice stay.

We like breakfast.We like also the pool and jacuzzi.The hotel is really close to the beach.

Breakfast was delicious. Great location, near all attractions. Very friendly, polite and helpful employees, particularly dining room and reception staff. Brilliant place to have a great night out n dance with friends without leaving a hotel in Skanpol's Underground nightclub. The music and age of guests of Underground are very diverse, therefore, our mixed age group between 30 and 70 yrs old had a great time.

It would be nice to be able to have a bacon and eggs cooked to order.

The location was perfect.The breakfast had a decent choice.

It was a bit outdated but I don't really mind honestly. Beds could be a bit more comfy though.Rooms could have a bit more lights, in the evening it's sometimes a bit too dark even when all lights are on when you need some light.

Professional welcoming, clean, quiet, private and tidy, shower gel and towels included. Temperature spot on. Breakfast with large choice of polish freshly made food.Lovely place to stay if your budget is not a problem.

A bit expensive. Price on booking.com is NOT what it says. You have to pay extra for breathing air (extra tax to pay).

Everything was great, including breakfast buffet, swimming pool and jacuzzi, comfortable room and a friendly staff.

It was ok. Pretty central. There is a paid parking around the corner (10 euros a night in 2024).

We had half board and the food was excellent. Every day something different and when something wasn't there it would be refilled within a few minutes. Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.The pool and sauna area was good to have.Would like to give an 8.5 rating, but it's unfortunately not possible.

Although the pool and sauna area was good to have, it was far too small for the amount of guests that stay in the hotel and the steam sauna could've been a bit hotter was the general opinion of everyone with whom I talked to in there. It can be a little bit loud in the dining area because there are quite a few tour buses staying at the hotel. Parking was a bit expensive but there were enough free parking spaces around the hotel.

The pool was great. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were fairly comfortable although I would have preferred a double bed.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The room had everything I needed for a short stay. I liked that there is a water dispenser by the lift, meaning I didn’t have to go out to buy more plastic bottles. The breakfast was fantastic!

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Location within walking distance of the train station, but no nuisance from trains. Hotel is located opposite a park. Shops in the immediate vicinity.

A negative is the noise from visitors to the nightclub in the basement when it closes early in the morning (4am). Fortunately, this is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings. Only the rooms with a balcony (at the front of the hotel) are affected by this.

Everything. The facilities. The amazing breakfast and supper buffet. Polish food at its best and wonderful hotel at its best. Get the balcony , so you can dry your swim stuff.

The rowdy revellers outside on the corner in the park. Just one night. Not a hotel issue. The location is great for access to train ?, CityCenter, parks. Not too far from the white sand beach and trails. Actually, I liked everything!

I booked SkanPol because my partner is Scandinavian and I wanted be in the middle of the town, also I was born in Kolobrzeg, I am always booking hotels by booking and never had any problems, always booking also if I like picture of the room and this time was the same. unfortunately the room pictured on booking and reality was totally different! they give me room absolutely not this one what I booked, let me say - hello 1980 - ugly! it was horrible, i was so disappointed! I addressed that problem with reception and told them that is not what I ordered and I would not stay in this room and demanded room I ordered… long story short I was told I needed to pay more for “pretty “ room … it was holidays season and my trip came up much more expensive than I expected! my first and definitely last stay in this hotel! ?☹️

Friendly staff and breakfast (or rather packed lunch, because I've left at 5:30 am).

No ventilation system in room at all (except bathroom) and smelly bathroom. Impossible to sleep with closed balcony door (not enough fresh air -suffocating) and/or with open (too cold and noisy) - it was an absolute nightmare. If you like forced wake ups every 1.0-1.5 hr (no fresh air) to open balcony door to ventilate your room with fresh air, that's a perfect place for you to stay !!!! I don't understand how in XXI century any hotel can be allowed to operate without any air conditioner or ventilation system at all - absolute disgrace !!!

The Staff was great. The food is good.

I was noisy at night. No view. Far from sea. Bed was not perfect.

Hotel has great location

Aqua wellness area is very small, according to pictures we expected bigger space, swimming pool too small, if more people would be in, then no way to feel comfortable.

The hotel is fine, everything you would need was presented to us. The reception was informative and friendly to answer all our questions. There were two restaurants at the hotel building. The breakfast was good, a standard hotel breakfast with a variety of selections. At this time of the year we were among Germans and few Scandinavian tourists, mostly elderly. The pool was good, with steam and Finnish saunas. Wi-Fi connection was good.
