Kolping-Hotel

The hotel was great very clean, the staff was helpful. The breakfast that comes with the room was more than enough. Very good value for the money. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was one of the best meals we have had on our travels.

The location is really good and the stuff were amazing , also as pregnant woman that eats only halal food and not speaking German, I had support and help without even asking , really nice stuff definitely I am coming back

very clean hotel, tasty breakfast, free parking, comfy bed. i really liked that the hotel has key boxes in case you come late - when the reception is normally closed. the keybox we had included the keys, instruction on how to get to the room, and all the other relevant information (breakfast time etc).

A friendly reception at a comfortable hotel in town centre location. A very nice evening meal in the beer garden delivered by a robot which was quite interesting and buffet breakfast.

Not sure why but the staff in the beer garden weren't very friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. The airco was convenient, but some guidance would have been helpful to get it running a bit quicker. The restaurant provides something for everybody for very reasonable prices. Breakfast offers enough.

Parking can be challenging. Not that clear if parking in the street was possible. A pity the reception is closed by 15.30 in the weekends.

Clean and tidy hotel in a good quiet location near the city centre. Restaurant is pretty good too.

Would have liked a kettle in the room. The layout of the building is a little confusing.

Everything fantastic

A bit off the Main River when biking but we’ll worth the extra 2km.. Very nice hotel with all modern features and fixtures. The staff was outstanding. Friendly reception , great locked bike storage garage , lovely garden are for sitting or dining . Our room #107 was very clean, bright and modern . Bathroom was also very clean with great shower water pressure .On site restaurant was very nice with a very readable price point . Breakfast was great with hot and cold food options.Amazingly reasonable price point for this high quality hotel

Eveything was great

We got a breakfast bag prepared at 05:20 since we were leaving early. Good service!

Great people, super friendly, been there twice now. The place is pretty basic, but I like no fuzz. Like that the breakfast offers lots of vegetables. It's nice for people that don't like eating bread so much.

Clean and good breakfast

Room 402 was clean but as I found out when the sun comes up light floods into the roof window that had no blind. When I complained that I had been awake since about 5am the manager basically said it was my fault for booking the room (as if I would have known) and apparently no one else has ever complained. End result I had to pay full price and they just don't care. Customer service zero points

Excellent service, fast response time, good location, nice breakfast buffet

Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was very helpful and courteous at all times. The restaurant was outstanding the first night but was not available the second night due to late availability of tables forcing us to go else where to eat.

We wanted the room cooler but were unable to decrease the room temperature. This caused the bed to be hot with the comforters provided. We needed plain blankets not comforters.

The location is very good. Especially if you travel with kids, baby, it's a big help!Te room was clean and silent.They put a nice baby bad in the room, it was appreciated! At the and it was possible to park the car there in the garage what also helped a lot.

There was some additional local tax on the price 2€/night/person. Not a big deal, but quite strange solution Maybe it's my fault, but I did not see when I booked.Breakfast also a little bit on the cheap, easy solution side. For this money it could be more real but definately not bad. Taking out stuff from the car after you parked there in garage is too complicated, it could be improoved, by organising it better.

It was cheap, yet fairly good.

The reception was unmanned when I arrived (contrary to the hours listed on Booking.com) and I had to get my key card from a lockbox. All the signage was in German, so that was a bit of a hassle.

Breakfast, although I was ordered to put my coffee cup down and let the person see me sanitize (spray) my hands. I had done so in the hall outside the breakfast room prior to entering, but that didn't count. BTW the person who told me to sanitize my hands, was not wearing an approved mask like the ones the hotel sold us. She was wearing the same type we had on originally.

The room was not at all as described. There was no refrigerator, no mini bar, no safety deposit box, no high chair, no alarm clock. We were told they didn't have any rooms as were described. It was apparently our fault we believed what was on booking.com. The rooms were warm with no chance of cross ventilation. With the windows wide open and no screens, there were many party goers to be heard till the wee hours of the morning.(Saturday night to Sunday morning. Our German masks were not good enough for Bavaria (Which is part of Germany) The front desk sold us 4 masks
