The room was fabulous and the breakfast was delicious. Ana was very accommodating and made our stay very special.
It was all fabulous, but a little far from all the wineries.
Anna, Antonio & Carla are so warm and welcoming, they could not do enough to make my stay comfortable. The room was lovely, super comfortable, and the views are exceptionally beautiful. Thank you for a really wonderful stay, and all the delicious food!
Nothing not to like
Clean, comfortable room. Amazing host Ana! Great view
The beautiful design mixing antique and modern art, the breakfast and the helpful staff
Almost nothing!
Beautiful spot in Armamar. Ana was a fantastic friendly host. She treated us to a glass of wine and melon and ham when we’re relaxing in the shared lounge. Fantastic breakfast provided
Ana is an excellent and friendly host. Place is beautilul and allowes relaxation. Very comfortable and great artistc taste. Nice, freshly made breakfest.
Everything was great!
The rooms are very clean and beautiful
The bathroom does not offer privacy, no doors, just a curtain to the room
Very cosy and home feeling property. Well decorated and spacious, comfy beds. The back rooms have a wonderful view to the mountains.Breakfast was super nice and on top of all of this the staff was very kind and willing to help with my time in the town: what to see, where to eat etc.
The service, location, sympathy: in one word: EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. Great value for money.Finest details, great art display and real, simple luxury.
The Pinta has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Ana is very accommodating, kind and welcoming. The common area is a great place to relax and the rooms are quite comfortable.
The decor and coziness of the place ?
Some points could be improved:- lack of wardrobe with hangers which makes impossible to hang your clothes- some objects in the room need repair (towel rack, etc)- lack of privacy to use the toilet (a simple sliding door would be enough to give the guests the needed privacy and "separate" the toilet from the room)- increase the capacity of the facilities in order that guests can have a proper hot shower (if guests take longer showers, than others will suffer from the availability of hot water, which is something that I would not expect to happen in this type of accomodation)

The decorating is gorgeous and unique. Spacious rooms. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Not so much to do in the area and a bit far from pesoa da regua but if you have a car it will be fine.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, perfect location. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and the breakfast provided lots of fresh fruit which I loved.
We could hear people talking in the other room quite well.
The property’s maintenance and upkeep is exceptional. Carla in the breakfast room was a pleasure and went out of her way to help us.
The skeleton door keys are a nuisance and not necessary. It could also be a safety risk if the room needed to be vacated quickly. The hotel should look to upgrade their door lock mechanisms.
The hotel overall is really nice. One room was very good, with good views over the hills.
The other room was just a bit odd. It was a twin room, which is what we added for, but the room was tiny with no privacy for the toilet and shower, and a smell of damp. No view at all. Odd that we were given this room because the hotel seemed almost empty.
One of the best places I have stayed in Portugal. Very cozy rooms, well designed, with attention to detail. Overall a great location to explore the Douro Valley. Amazing view and tasty breakfast!
