Hotel Sao Pedro - Arouca

Good location, breakfast wonderful. Town small good place stay.

Not much can say bad it was good efficient and front desk spoke English and was nice.

very friendly and helpful staff - they organised for us early breakfast every day, provided us with a kettle in the room; very good selection of fresh fruit for breakfast; comfortable beds; good shower; good location - within short walk from the center of Arouca

The hotel was really accommodating when we had to change our dates. The staff, when we arrived were excellent, easy check-in. Room was clean, great size with a lovely balcony (bonus round). Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast was very good, lots of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs. The location was perfect for a central point in Arouca, we were able to access the hiking points we wanted to get to. Would definitely recommend

Breakfast was poor, on last day we felt forced to leave by the guy on duty. very unprofessional very little on offer to eat. Poor

The location, the breakfast, and the overall facilities, starting from the parking to the restaurant, were excellent. I also loved the location—it was a quick walk away from the center of lovely Arouca. The Christmas decorations were pretty, too. It seemed to be a family business, which gave the location a cozier feeling.

Not that it was a huge turn-off (or even a small one), but labeling the available foods at breakfast would have been nice, as is usual in other hotels. There were some offerings which I have never seen before. Yes, this is the only (not so bad) thing I have to point out!

Very friendly staff, good location- walking distance to the town. Secure outdoor car park at the hotel. It’s 30 minutes drive to the Arouca bridge.

The room was old, dirty (with hairs) and the walls had told stains.

It was really spacious and clean, loved the balcony

good location, minutes' walk away from town centreown parking a big plus, as lots of visitors to conventrather basic breakfast but does the jobgreat staffspecial thank you to the restaurant who crape me for a room with a balcony when window didn't open and delivered lunch to my room in matter of minutes

Family run (maybe?) hotel in Arouca. Modern and comfortable enough. Plenty of car parking. Breakfast could be better.

The hotel was in a great location just a short walk from the town centre. We had a good sized room with the added bonus of a nice sitting area which made everything more spacious.The breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice.

The hotel did feel slightly dated and lacked a bit of atmosphere/character but not enough to stop me staying there again.

Our room smelled of mold. There were water stains and paint peeling on the walls, with signs of mold. Since we’re given one key only, we couldn’t leave the key on the wall slot to keep A/C going, so we returned to a musky smelling room.Sliding door to balcony had no lock. Only one room temperature can of coke in the mini-fridge.In other hotels of this level, complimentary water bottles were offered, here €2 were charged for each small bottle we asked for.

The breakfast was very good. The staff is very friendly and professional.

There was black mold in our room on the ceiling, close to the baseboards and ventilation in bathroom was bad. I am allergic to mold and had an immediate reaction.

Location and breakfast were great.

Small shower and bed could have been more comfortable.

Very very disappointed with bed pillows, they were terrible. Both my mother in law and I had a bad night's sleep due to pillows. They have obviously been washed and have clumped together so so uncomfortable really let down the hotel.

Balcony

The breakfast was very poor for a 3 star hotel not much variety of food, hot drinks and lactose free milk or yogurts

Great location for walking into town and for restaurants and cafes.

Bathroom and decor very tired. Bulbs not replaced in fitments and the bed mattress had definitely seen better days.

Location is great and the rooms are nice and super comfortable. And big bathroom. I had a great night's sleep.

Small TV but not a big issue.

Easy to find, friendly greeting upon arrival by Nuno. Check in was easy, clean room, ac worked great, water pressure in shower great, nice breakfast included. Nuno also was extremely helpful in explaining directions and parking for local sites….. 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge was especially helpful. Nuno was outstanding, as was all the staff we encountered.

Good location, practically in the centre of the village, good bed, no problems at check-in or with the staff. Normal breakfast. Good for one night.

The hotel needs some renovation work, especially in the bathroom and other parts of the room, such as the finishes, lights and tv.
