- I am currently staying at the Sand Martin for a 3rd time this year (will be the last). Weather is getting warmer and the rooms are very warm. Today my room reached 28.5. When asked if the aircon could be turned on the Manager refused. I looked for another hotel close by but due to the late timing was not successful. It is mid April and the room is unbearable.

Breakfast was very variable depending on staff for the morning. Food quantities during a morning were not monitored or restocked.
Lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room which is a basic feature in most hotels. Lack of any information or brochure on the wellness/spa facilities and even lack of information about golf facilities, where the web-site was also confusing and unhelpful.

Nice and relaxing view from the terrace
I booked a double room with king size bed via booking.com however they gave a room with 2 seperate standard beds. When I raised this with the reception, they gave another room but immeditaley I saw that actually they moved 2 single beds together to form a bigger looking bed. I was too tired to address this again..The bar is opened until 10 pm. It could be available at least until midnight, but I guess this could be related to limited labour.
