Located on the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord in western Greenland is this 4-star hotel. It provides fine dining and a free shuttle service from Ilulissat Airport, 5 minutes’ drive away. Modern furnishings and décor are featured in each Hotel Arctic room, as well as artwork by local artists. All have a flat-screen TV with cable channels, while some also offer a mini-bar and views over the sea and icebergs. Disko Bay views, a summertime terrace and Greenlandic cuisine can be enjoyed at the gourmet Restaurant Ulo. Guests can unwind after dinner with a drink in the Bar. A tour desk is available at Arctic Hotel. Ilulissat town center is within a 5 minute drive of the hotel, while the polar explorer Knud Rasmussen’s birthplace, now a museum, is 1.9 mi away.

Amazing food onsite and views from the room were fantastic. The team were very friendly and helpful
I tried to offer feedback to staff regarding a problem I had on arrival but this wasn't acknowledged at all. I arrived late and was staying in one of the glass front chalets which are separate and a bit of a walk from the main hotel. I was accompanied to the chalet but after the staff member left I was unable to get the lights to work. It was pitch black and obviously freezing cold. It took me some time to find a way back into the main hotel to report the issue. Quite scary in the freezing dead of night. I'm not sure if the response I had was just culturally different, but there was no acknowledgement at all, no discussion and no response. Just make sure you get them to show you how everything works before they leave you if you are alone and it's dark!
I recently stayed at this amazing hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The sea view room I booked was nothing short of breathtaking! The view of the ocean was spectacular, and the room itself was impeccably designed and well-equipped, offering everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to the front desk staff. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. From the moment I arrived, they made sure I felt welcome and at ease. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and they took the time to ensure all my needs were met with patience and care. It really made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I couldnt be happier with my experience here and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!
