Pros +
- Friendly staff, restaurant (although was closed on Sunday), location.
- This is a great little hotel with super food in the downtown of the village. The location is fantastic-close to other restaurants and necessities. The back of the hotel has a wonderful view from your bed of the mountain and the chateau. Quaint. The owner of the hotel is exceptional-he will tourism advice. He and his wife do the cooking in the restaurant and it's very very good. The village is crowded in August but still worth the visit. People are not pushing each other around. Highly recommend and we will be back. Hotel is also not far from the thermes LUZIA which only receives marginally good reviews on BOOKING but is actually a great value with lovely staff. You just have to book the treatments and you are treated well. I've been to several thermes in France and other spas in the US and Europe and this one is competitive if you book treatments-which are reasonably priced.
- Nice traditional hotel, simple but perfectly comfortable, well located in centre of Luz. Ideal base for a few days skiing or hiking.
Cons -
- My room had sloped ceiling and I’m 2m in height so banged my head a few times. Plus little soundproofing between rooms.
- I don't like hotels where the toilet and sink are right next to the shower because the entire area becomes flooded. Not the fault of the owner but just know that this is the arrangement...maybe ask for more towels or more bathroom mats.
- There’s nothing not to like since the staff was so amazing and helpful with our luggage! The views are really stunning and the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious! Our room was spacious and we rested very well there!

Very helpful and friendly staff, secure motorcycle parking. Fantastic value and location.
Location
No Air condition , Very Very small room , when you enter there is 1 bed in 5m room and another bed room at the attic , it was so hot we had to seat in the street bench until midnight like a homeless !!!!!! there was no Fan also and when you open the window the room is full of fly's and other flying object , this was my worst stay ever !!!!!
Situacio
Hotel antic, sense ascensor ni aire condicionat.
central location, relaxed atmosphere
room was basic
Very picturesque location helpful staff great parking
Dated and rooms had been smoked in but probably some time ago
Really friendly welcome and comfortable hotel with lovely dining room and sitting area.
we had booked the room with view to the old castle - and we had that room - room no. 106. From there we also could hear the river - and nothing more. Hotel is very central -
The breakfast was good value, hotel was clean and bed was comfortable, owner was helpful
Great location, friendly service, good sized rooms, secure bike parking, meals in restaurant were great.
Excellent location. Confortable beds.
Bit of street noise, but quieted down fairly early.
Breakfast featured everything a cyclist needs for a days riding in the Pyrenees. The breakfast was served on time with fresh bread recently backed at the local bakery. Staff and owners were fantastic.
Really nothing
Good location. Great for motorbikers.
Room was somewhat tired. Price is elevated in relation to the above. Guess it is due to location.
Good value for money, nice location. Like the garage for the bikes and the quality of the food at the dinner.
Room was a bit small, receptions hours are limited, garage may lack security. Wifi system is just poor but it does not matter as the plan is to be outdoor.
Located in the centre of town. Were given a duplex room which was great! Private parking, perfect for motorcyclists. Helpful staff.
OK restaurant on site but limited menu.
Arrived as a group of 4 on motorbikes, good secure off road parking for the motorbikes. Staff very friendly and helpful, good bar at the hotel, evening meal and breakfast was great. Nice location though it is ski resort prices for food and beer.
No problems to report.
The customer service here is the star. The owners are lovely and have an adorable dog. The staff were all helpful. The entire place is very clean. The bar/restaurant has been updated and the breakfasts were lovely. The rooms need updating considering the price but were really comfy (I stayed in two different ones). The beds and bedding were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was great.
The biggest letdown was that rooms facing the road had to listen to the bar-restaurant music until almost 10 pm. This won't be a problem in the fall/winter if the terrace is closed but I was there during great weather so the terrace was open and pop music was quite loud, probably hoping to attract people looking for a place to eat and drink. If you're enjoying the terrace, this is fine but I'm in bed by 9 pm reading so it wasn't ideal. A room on the other side of the building, facing the garden would have been better. The owners are lovely and this place is welcoming and well-run but the music thing was annoying.
