Hotel Marina Club Old Town View

Close to old town city center, parking nearby, friendly staff, nice room with separate bedroom, small kitchen with coffee machine.

Nothing not to like.

Location is amazing and the room views are breathtaking. I also appreciated the rooftop bar with equally stunning views. For a 3* hotel it's really good value. Rooms are recently renovated, large and clean. The only thing I would add is buffet breakfast (at the time of my visit was a la carte but probably due to low season).

Good location to explore the city. We had a large apartment with very nice river view. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel Marina Club is located in Gdansk marina, very close to city center and all major attractions, walking distance really, plus with a city view. The building is older and the hotel being three stars, I was a bit afraid if the interior photos are true to reality. But no worries, not only they were, but more - they did not capture how the studio was really newly restored and spacious. Really, one of the biggest rooms I experienced in hotels, In fact we prolonged our stay of 1 day, the original plan was to move to some of the neighboring cities for a different experience (Sopot maybe) but I was sure that I would not find the same comfort for the same expense so we stayed.

I was looking for a hotel with breakfast included, but maybe it was not necessary. Not that there would be anything bad with the breakfast, it was OK. But the the kid eating only a bowl of cereal with milk for 15 euro breakfast was not very cost effective. Also you are in the midst of all various hotels and restaurants offering breakfasts or open since morning, including small bakeries. So maybe decide on the breakfast once you are there, you can always add it at the reception. Also the hotel parking is quite expensive, we decided to park in front of the hotel just below the entry stairs on public parking spot, and even that such spots are the priciest public parking in Gdansk (city center) we paid for 3 days approx. half of what the hotel parking would cost (given the nights were free of charge and we used the car to move around one day). Frankly, though I understand this new policy that the hotels charge for parking now (limited spots) I would guess it should offer some benefit for the hotel guests and not exceed the price of visitors parking. More so in this case when hotel does not have a garage and you park on the same street, albeit behind the ramp.

The hotel had a fantastic location, great facilities and was very clean. We did not have our room cleaned or fresh towels during our visit. The staff were very efficient but some language barrier during breakfast. It wasn’t made clear that it was a buffet breakfast when others were ordering from a menu.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, providing convenient access to local attractions. The room was impressively spacious, equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Despite the usual February weather, the view from the room was truly breathtaking and added a special touch to the experience. The rooftop bar was a fantastic feature, offering a delightful spot to relax and unwind in the evenings.

wifi,toiletries,small lobby and for stairs it’s difficult to take luggage from downstairs to lobby.
