    Pros +

    • The breakfast was good, the location was very close to everything but far enough to avoid (most) street noise
    • Breakfast was ok. Location of the hotel is perfect.
    • Excellent location in proximity to the Christmas Market and old town as a whole. value was excellent. Beds were comfortable, room was pleasant. Breakfast was reasonable and delicious!! We could see the church from our room, and other than a few random crowds on the street, the room was quiet. Parking was easy and close.

    Cons -

    • Coffee machines didn't function and they were located badly. Fridge didn't function or was misssing from the other room. Pillows were thin and old.
    • Shower had some damage to the drain which made it unsightly.
    • Too noisy - during the night- on a busy street.

    Kettle in room / clean

Too noisy - during the night- on a busy street.

Hotel is located in city’s prime location. Everything is walking distance, most of the monuments and museums, restaurants and shopping. Room was small but just big enough for a mother with a child. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom: clean and spacious. Front desk staff was very nice and two people I met, were very polite and spoke perfect English. They helped me get a taxi to the airport for a decent price and our driver was wonderful and punctual.

The only thing that was driving me nuts was the TV that no matter what button I pushed, it wasn’t turning off. I gave up and just unplugged it.

Nice traditional building a short stroll from tourist areas. Good bed and accommodating staff.

Initially put in a garret room, which we had not expected, but their mistake was rectified when queried and we were moved to a nice room on a lower floor. Need some nice jam for the breakfast bar please and some variety of fruit would be nice.

Location was amazing and People working there super friendly. Was nice and clean.

We got a room with 2 single beds. Both beds and pillows were very uncomftable to sleep on.The ceiling was kind of low especially where the beds were located and as well the bathroom. The view from the window was the bricks of the hotel roof. The room was not the one in the pictures. Our friends order the same and got what they paid for.In the bathroom was not a mirror.

Warm and clean, good breakfast (herrings offered of course) :)

A cooling/heating technology is noisy. Unpleasant when you going to sleep :(

Great location (but be prepared to hear the church bells a lot!). The beds were comfortable. The room was cosy. The breakfast was tasty. The staff were very kind and helpful.

During our stay, it seemed like there was an issue with the pipes in the bathroom and we noticed an unpleasant smell for most of the time we were there.

Great location in the heart of old town Very clean and staff is friendly Good wifi The only thing is front rooms are facing a some sort of a bar that plays load music till early in the morning so its not possible to sleep without earplugs In fairness earplugs are provided

    could be noisy at night

Very nice hotel. Big room. Perfect location in the center of the Old Town in Gdansk. Delicious breakfast. I will be back!!

Perfect location, great breakfast options, comfortable bed and friendly staff

Visible stone in the shower and a thick layer of it in the kettle. Daily cleaning was confusing - they wouldn’t vacuum the bathroom floors (hair laying around) or replace our dirty mugs that we used everyday to make a tea or coffee. The TV was pretty old and didn’t work properly.

Great hotel located smack down in the middle of Gdansk. 3 minutes walk and you cant be more central. Fabulous location. Lively areaa without any problems sleeping. Breakfast and restaurant in the building was a great option.

The location simply couldn't be bettered, right in the heart of the old town. The place itself is full of traditional atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner are taken at the Bonzur adjoining, which was superb. Particularly good breakfast range.

My husband complained of the nearby church bells which mark the hours enthusiastically, but I found them rather charming. Altogether a delightful place.

    10SarahPosted on: 12-7-2024

Fantastic location right in the centre

Probably the Bella from the church going off every half an hour in the night. But they supply ear plugs and the second night wasn’t an issue

    awful

We were supposed to stay 3 nights. In the first night its was a nasty and bad smell from the bathroom, so we got another room. in the other night we weren’t able to sleep at all because of the noise outside so we had to find another hotel the last night. And the internet didn’t work in any of the rooms we stayed at, and the receptionist didn’t want to help!

    7fosterPosted on: 11-24-2024

Great location, staff helpful, room was simple but comfortable.

My single room 102 was on the first floor facing the street and near elevator and restrooms used by hotel restaurant patrons. There was lots of noise outside my window from drunken revelers on the street past midnight into early hours, and also outside my door from drunk guests using the bathroom or waiting for elevator, laughing and speaking quite loudly despite late hour. This, noise was a serious issue which impacted my sleep. I think asking for a room away from the street and above the first floor is key in this hotel.

Breakfast was excellent, comfortable hard beds.

    No shampoo and balsam.
