Beautiful and modern hotel. View from our room was stunning. Friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is slighlty dated but very clean and well kept. Our room had a pleasant balcony with great views of the sea! The rooms were basic but light any airy and in good condition. Ample parking available, the reception staff were helpful and friendly, everything was very clean and the ool is on the large size and was never too busy. I have to say a special thank you to room service as one of our party was ill during our stay and they helped clear everything up very efficiently in the middle of the night.

I would not recommend the buffet dinner at the hotel. The breakfast offering was not that great either. The choise is not brillant as it seems that they offer pretty much the same thing every day and it seemed that beef offered at supper time was terribly over cooked. The a la carte food available at the bar is good however.

The location is amazing. The room was perfect! staff very professional. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty. The only regret was that we didn't stay enough! Highly recomended and for sure will be back!

Great location and view

Breakfast were a bit homogeneous- I get the idea of continental breakfast, but one comes for holiday so would be good to get some local “flavors” going beyond pastries ?

The view is great. Parking is huge. The staff is very nice. The room was spacious.

Breakfast is very basic, and the coffee is very watery - but the view makes up for everything.

The staff, location, comfort

It was nice having the balcony looking out to the sea. The full bathtub in the bathroom (not just a shower) was also nice. Location was good for the island. People at reception were very informative about places to eat. Highly recommend the Caloura Bar down the road for fish!

Most hotels in Portugal include breakfast - this one did not. They did offer a buffet breakfast at 19 euros each, and dinner buffet at 39? euros I think. That's pretty high for breakfast, when you can go get bread at the bakery.

Location is amazing and staff is great

Breakfast must have better quality and choices, strange there’s no fish in the hotel situated in the middle of ocean.

amazing view, the decoration of the hotel and the gardens. The size of the room was good and the bed was very confortable.

no plugs near the bed sides for charging the phone,, pillows were not confortable

Lovely, well talen care of, eccellent location and grounds. Spectacular nature and views.

Some early morning maintenance in the adjacent room was very noisy.

Location, overall landscape environment and simple but elegant design.The team members that interacted with us were extremely pleasant, very courteous and displayed a strong sense of belonging!

The view was absolutely breathtaking. The property was beautifully manicured and inviting. Absolutely gorgeous location and the building was very well maintained. Beautiful stay.

No breakfast included, but everything else was perfect.

The hotel has a very nice view and is located outside of the busy areas but within 10-15min drive to everywhere. Thereby very convenient. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean and feels grand.

The breakfast is expensive and therefore we did not eat at the hotel. We found some very nice restaurants in the nearby towns. Had the breakfast been a bit more affordable then it would have been a perfect stay.

Quiet, clean and spacious.

Faux double beds. Room service tax of EU15, regardless of the total spent. Originally told it was a once-off charge, only to discover it was charged every time. Some of the male restaurant and bar staff were less than friendly.

Beautiful ocean views in a secluded waterfront area of Caloura. This property is impeccably maintained and offers a relaxing atmosphere.

The patio door lock doesn't stay locked when it's windy out. Door doesn't open but it's distracting since the wind jingles the door. Shower head needs replacing as it has a stream of water leaking from it.

The grounds of the hotel are exceptional. The gardens have a range of tropical plants and are well maintained. I loved the access to the beach at the bottom of the garden. Surrounded by dramatic black volcanic rock and turquoise blue seas.The staff were welcoming, professional and very helpful. Great location, Baixa beach bar is a lovely local beach. Good base as it is easy to get to all of the main beauty spots.Our bedroom was large , tasteful and clean . Large balcony which was perfect as the sun also sets in view .Caloura is a beautiful part of the island and I hope to return to this piece of heaven on earth

Unfortunately the food at the hotel was not very good, however we visited off season and the menu was reduced at this time .
