Ambergris Cay All-Inclusive is a family friendly resort that provides air-conditioned accommodations in Big Ambergris Cay. Among the various facilities are an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, as well as a spa & wellness center. Guests can have a drink at the bar. All rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. Guest rooms feature a private pool. The in-house restaurant specializes in Caribbean and American cuisine. The complimentary 20 minute flight from Providenciales to Ambergris Cay is included. Round trip flight information to and from Providenciales (PLS) must be provided by all guests in order for the hotel to arrange for private transfers to Ambergris Cay. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can provide advice on what to do in the area.

Ambergris Cay provides complimentary private transfers by air on a daily basis from Providenciales (PLS) to Ambergris Cay. To arrange for private transfers guests are asked to provide their flight information to Providenciales (PLS) at the time of booking. Additionally , when planning those flights please be aware that transfers to Ambergris Cay are only available during daylight hours. An Ambergris Cay representative will meet guests outside the Customs Hall in Providenciales. For more details, please contact the hotel directly using the contact information provided on this email. On occasion, our planes may be out of operation for routine maintenance and we may have to substitute transfer by one our private planes for a chartered flight on a domestic airline. If this is necessary, we will make every attempt to notify guests in advance. In this case, transfers will depart from the main terminal and not the Atlantic Aviation FBO (formerly Blue Heron).

- Truly the only positive here is the staff and the view. Thank you GianCarlos in the bar, Thaw in the bar, Joselyn in the bar, Pedro at dinner, Jose at breakfast, Cameron on the boat, Nicole in the restaurant, the whole crew at the Hangover Bar, Jason with the conch diving, Jerome the tennis pro, Evelyn (our favorite) in the restaurant, Victor our butler, and Ashanti with the electric bikes. Other than that, it was a huge disappointment.
- Not crowded, space to enjoy the beach in private. Gorgeous location accessible directly from the room. Vegetarian options at meals. Mix of activities available as well as leisure time to ensure the surroundings.
Cons -
- Food was awful. No, let me be more specific, it's inedible. Horrible! Requests for food/drinks were not honored (even though sent months ahead of time). Room smells like sewage. AC stopped working in 100 degree weather. No glass bottom kayak as advertised. Left at airport for 2+ hours on arrival (stuck in a room where the employees are coming and going and the resort would not answer our calls for help). Ran out of drinks at the bars (Jameson and Corona). Outlets next to bed not working to charge phones. Rain showers spray all over the bathroom floor which is a real PIA to clean up each day. Very limited toiletries. The beaches are full of rocks and this makes them hard to enjoy without pool shoes (which they did not sell on property). They advertise fishing at the resort but do not have the correct equipment to fish with (clear liters). The restaurants do not have AC and truly it is miserable to sit in the 100 degree plus temps. The also advertise diving, but do not have tanks. Be careful, you will be diving 25 ft plus with no air. It's dangerous for even the best divers. We spoke to a few employees who explained to us that the work environment has become "toxic" since the new owners took over. So very sad to hear this; as truly they are the only positive the resort has.
