Hotel Goldener Adler

The staff were very professional, reception and breakfast. Seems better than it's current 8.5 rating.

If wifi is important ask for a room with good wifi

Perfect location, beautiful old building, comfortable rooms and good breakfast

Breakfast price is a bit high (but quality undisputable)

Excellent location in beautiful, walkable, downtown Bautzen. Breakfast very good. Roomy rooms. Second time staying here and there will be more!

Nice old hotel. Dog was welcome. Perfect location in the old city.

Breakfast was overpriced.

A great location in the heart of the city, which is not loud even on a Saturday night. Great breakfast selection for a very affordable price. Free parking (though limited is still a great possibility). Super clean with super comfy beds. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing to say here.

View on the market square is spectacular and the location is excellent for sightseeing the whole Old Town. The interiors are not only comfortable but they look really good. The thing I liked but might be an issue if you stay longer is bell ringing from the Town Hall tower clock (sounding quarters and full hours all day and night long). For those who are worried: the hotel provides you with earplugs (you'll find them in the bathroom).

Generally clean, bed is comfortable

Didn't realize the hotel was so close to the church which bells ring every hour. The courtyard was loud at night making it impossible to sleep.

Great location in the centre of the town. Friendly and helpful staff (who could speak English). Comfortable room. Good choice for breakfast. Free parking.

No restaurant (but several within walking distance) and limited parking (but it is free).

Location

No air conditioning and noise from the street and church bells

Location was perfect, the staff was very helpful.

The room is hot in summer, there is no air conditioner.

My favorite hotel in Bautzen. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the laundry service is great and the location is ultra-central. It's also within a short walking distance to the Bautzen Burgtheater, which makes it a perfect choice if you're in town to see the Summer Theater.

Location excellent, breakfast good, beautiful hotel.

Beds uncomfortable.

Great location. A wonderful old building on the main city square. Some free parking.

Better breakfast. Better renovation of the room and bathroom.

Good breakfast, nice view to the main square from rooms with a double bed, free parking

the owner was lovely and helpful….The place while directly in the square was completely quiet. I’ve rarely had such a g

Rooms clean, nice, newly furnished and well equipped.Breakfast outstanding

Exceptional location in historic Bautzen. The room was enormous and immensely comfortable. Staff were excellent. I would definitely stay again.

Nice location, good breakfast, clean

Thin walls, Heard someone snoring all night long in the room next to me

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave me a map of the city with all the restaurants and tourist attractions. The room was clean and very comfortable, it was a pleasure to stay there. I used the laundry service and a nice staff members returned my clothes impeccably cleaned and pressed.

The location in the centre of Bautzen is great! A very lovely city and the hotel was in the same style as the city. The breakfast was great and we could put our bikes in the garage, which was very nice:)
