    Pros +

    • Breakfast was a bit thin, toilet in room bit smelly probably needs update but for the price ok
    • Convenient location off the motorway in a pleasant area. Secure, gated car park and decent clientele including families. We felt safe there, unlike some cheaper hotels. Clean and well organised rooms and grounds. The bathrooms are those small fibreglass cubicles that do the job fine. A well-managed hotel. Good selection at breakfast including cereal. Decent vending machines. Excellent value and for us there was nothing not to like. We will stop off here again on route to and from South France from/to UK and can recommend to anyone looking for a good value, safe night's sleep.
    • Location is perfect. It is near the tram stop and near stores. The place is simple but clean.

    Cons -

    • There was no water cooker.
    • It was neither Premier nor classe. Very basic, no nearby restaurants accepted dogs
    • room was cramped, smelled of smoking, bed was very short, bathroom needed replacing.

I didn’t expect much and was still disappointed. All I wanted was a long hot shower and some good sleep, but both I didn’t get. The drain is the shower was full clocked, which made it impossible to shower. The housekeeping staff knocked at my door hours before check out time and woke me up several times by banging on my door.

You get what you pay. A very simple and basic hotel. Small room, small bathroom. The bed was confortable, the water pressure and temperature was ok, Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy but enought. Private parking. All on all, it is ok for the price you pay for one night.

Nothing, but after quite a walk we found an excellent buffet restaurant

It was neither Premier nor classe. Very basic, no nearby restaurants accepted dogs

I did get a ground floor room for disabled.

room was cramped, smelled of smoking, bed was very short, bathroom needed replacing.

It’s cheap- even cheaper, I found out, if you book directly with the property. It’s very basic, you get what you pay for. But clean, tidy. If you are just passing through it’s perfect as very close to the motorway.

Breakfast- well you get what you pay for. Very simple bread/ jam/ hot-cold drinks

Breakfast ok as with most things.

After arrival, we went to walk our dog at 9.25pm. A man in his late20s/early 30s was in reception with his 95 year old grandmother. (they had driven 360 miles from calais). The self check in was not working and the young lady at reception refused to check them in for over 50 minutes. Eventually after the receptionist overheard me say that someone will lose there job over this she opened up the tambour and got someone else to check them in.The next morning at breakfast we felt like we were being watched while eating. Not a pleasant stay.

    Very clean and tidy

There was no heating in the room. The heater on the wall did not work and the air conditioning heating did not work because all the filter were clogged up with dirt

Simple but clean and convenient. Staff was friendly.

Nothing stands out. The croissant from breakfast was good, but that's about it.

The room's bathroom was one of those kinda industrially made, kinda portable, not a real construction. Very small. The mattress was very ok, Regarding breakfast, there is a machine from which you can choose a type of coffee, but the down side is... Is not real coffee. It's instant, and pretty bad. Very disappointing, especially since the location is quite isolated and there are no cafes or bars around. I paid 40 euros but I don't think it's good value for the money.

Flexible check-in hours, easy access to the private parking, friendly and welcoming staff at reception and cafe, good shower, comfy bed, attractive interior

    Good parking safe location

    But out of town

    7AndrewPosted on: 8-27-2024

Shower is very, very small! Air-conditioning works, bed was getting tired after too many single occupants and needs a couple more pillows.

Needs two more pillows. Only fast food availability locally on a Sunday.

    6RichardPosted on: 8-23-2024

Good value for money and excellent location

I booked 2 triple rooms but they only had 1 triple and 1 double when I checked in. They said hotel was full and they couldn’t help me.

    5JuliePosted on: 8-19-2024

    Very convenient situation

Very tired. Toilet seat broken and sink rusty.

    5NormanPosted on: 8-14-2024

Good location (10 mins off the motorway) with safe off road parking. Simple check in

Room was ok but no facilities to make a drink and only a paper cup to drink out of. Breakfast poor and a scramble in a small, over crowded, dining area.

    6StevenPosted on: 8-9-2024

Convenient location. Good value, friendly staff and decent breakfast . Good parking.

Basic and dated rooms. Cramped. Poor en suite.

    6EmmaPosted on: 8-6-2024

Cheap and comfortable. Very basic hotel but that’s what we paid for. Comfortable beds.

Very small bathrooms - like ones on ferries. Staff were very slow to check in - massive queue of ppl waiting. Breakfast looked poor for the cost - we went elsewhere.
