Great breakfast and clean room

The aircon was not working and the reception didn’t notify us until we questioned them. We were offered a floor fan which was noisy and unsatisfactory. We specifically choose properties with aircon due to the oppressive weather.

Good location for what we wanted

There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke on the ground floor which we had to walk through to first floor. No facilities to make a hot drink but there was a machine which you had to pay for drinks.

Indoor cycle storage. Close to véloroute. Helpful staff.

Room was a bit basic. Could have used more or better pillows. Privacy issues with the"ensuite" facilities.

There are two hotels opposite each other (approx 20 metres apart) - IBIS and IBIS budget. I booked the IBIS budget (although I had not realised there was a choice to book the other one - and I have no idea what the differences are). Check in was easy, computerised with an English language option. There was a receptionist (I did not see her until after I had checked in with the computer) who advised me that breakfast was only available from the other hotel because I had not booked in advance. Hardly a great hardship to walk across the road. The room was clean, warm and quiet. Good value for money. Signposting from the main road was excellent too.

I opted for dinner at the IBIS opposite... ,convenient location, but considering this is France, not great for the price. The staff were polite and friendly. The food... microwaved to order. It was hot and edible... but the vegetables had that soggy microwaved texture. Rare for me to say, but McDonalds would have been better. Breakfast on the other hand was great.

Heating system is not working very well. I couldn't heated up the room while outer temperature is quite low

A hotel convenient for the Roscoff ferry. A modern hotel just off the autoroute with secure parking. Everything was clean and working. Breakfast was quite good. Much better than some older ibis Budget hotels I have used before. I would stay there again.

Nothing really. Note the reception is closed later in the evening and you need a booking code to get into the hotel and room using an external machine.

We had stayed at 4 Ibis Budget hotels in the preceding days. This one provided by far the best breakfast. Well done.
