Moon Garden Old Town Hotel

The location is unbeatable. The terrace is amazing!

The beds were not comfortable (too hard) and there were some issues with appliances not working that were not properly addressed (e.g., the coffee machine in the room didn’t work and was not replaced, the A/C system didn’t work but there was a standup fan, our room wasn’t “in the system” so it was not cleaned when we requested it).

The hotel was close to old town and downtown and is centrally located. It is also close to cafes, restaurants and a supermarket and the Hales Turgus market ( must visit!). Pretty much all of the key sites you want to visit in the city. Most importantly, the front desk girl, Vitalija was very kind and gracious. she recommended coffee shops and restaurants for us to visit. She was our favorite part of our stay. It was nice chatting with her about what people enjoy in Villnius.

We smelled old plumbing pipes in the bathroom and kitchen sink. It was very apparent in our room 101.

The location and the fantastic terrace, spacious, well furnished, and tastefully decorated for the season.

It’s not like “I didn’t like “- it was quite inconvenient, near the bed there was no electrical outlet.

Great location. Free street parking on Sundays. The people working the reception were great and very helpful!

Our Superior Double room the first night did not have any windows, only two skylights. It was also VERY COLD in the room. It was very noticeable as soon as we walked in from the hallway. We slept in sweatpants and sweatshirts and socks. We changed rooms the next night to another room that had nice windows to view outside and it also had working heat. The second night was wonderful!

Very good location, the room was clean, and the staff was nice and friendly.

The walls were thin, and I could hear everything from the neighboring room.

The location is excellent, near Old Town. The instructions for accessing the building after the reception staff leaves at 8:00 pm were perfect. The hotel is cozy, super clean, offers lobby hot and cold beverages and well stocked honor bar. Even hot wine for guests. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Having the elevator was so nice. We were well rested there. And the reception staff were very nice and helpful.

I have no complaints. Be prepared to walk to a parking lot where you will pay for parking. There is a parking lot (you pay) across the street from the hotel but it is always full due to the restaurant and business there.

Extremely cute hotel with nice interior and all you need in the room including comfortable beds. Great value for money!But the biggest gem of this hotel is absolutely amazing staff that made us sorry to leave this place. Unfortunately don't know the name of a young woman at the reception but wanted to thank her for possibility to check out one hour later, a takeaway hot wine she prepared for us and a heartwhelming chat. You are amazing! ?

Perfect location, in between station and old town, 15 min by bolt (€8) to airport. Nice restaurant just opposite (1min). Room and bathroom are just fine. In general would rate ***+

Breakfast should start at 7AM iso 8AM, although the market halls (2min by foot) have several good bf options starting at 7

Location is fantastic, breakfast is really good, room as well as the hotel is clean and comfortable!) Stayed for 1 night, with pleasure will come back again.

Location is near the gate of dawn so easy to access the old town.

i will not consider this place as a hotel but more of an apartment. there is only one personnel who while very helpful is no longer available from 8pm to 8am. We had 3 rooms of which 2 were fronting the street and very noisy. And there were several steep steps to reach the front of hotel. nobody to help so difficult to carry baggage. While location was okay, i think there are better options available for the price point. this is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Breakfast was nice and well presented. I was just expecting a better breakfast.

Situation very closed to the downtown. A lot of light even in the down floor.The staff ready to help u if you had any issue.

It's an excellent place for the money, excellent. The desk closes at 8pm, but in fact I didn't have any need for it afterwards. It's across the street from a really good restaurant, much better than you would find easily in town, so if you're hungry when you arrive, you're well off. This is one of the nicest hotels in a smallish town I've ever stayed in, and I recommend to you. Once you go through the old gate, a matter of some religion, it's a magnificent place to visit, with some superb restaurants hiding away.

Very convenient location to transport, market hall with inexpensive food, gate to old city. Was nice to have a terrace. Decent size room. Good breakfast, staff available to help.

A bit utilitarian in decor and atmosphere, but warranted by the price. I could have used brighter lighting .

Broken safe, staff cannot fix it. They didn’t bring towels regardless of our request.

Right on the edge of the old town, so you got the vibe without being surrounded only by tourists, some nice local restaurants nearby. Also closer to the central bus and train stations which was great for trips to kaunas and trakai.

Rooms were tidied but not necessarily cleaned daily, we had a weird experience coming back to the hotel finding half a made bed. Didn't bother us though, we hadn't requested a cleaning. But it was a little odd.
