The breakfast was great and staff was sweet

The heated pool was cold we couldn’t swim a bit disappointed

We really enjoyed the experience of staying in the chateau - its location, not far from Bayeux city center and the Normandy beach sites was ideal because we stayed in cities for most of our trip, so this was a treat. The building and grounds were very nice, and the staff was terrific. Dinner in the restaurant was also very special. I would return and recommend!

Our rooms were in the main house, and could use some upgrades. The furnishings are a bit old and tired. That being said, I believe the rooms in the other building have been recently renovated, and the owners do have plans to renovate the main rooms in the future. It is worth asking about that before booking if it bothers you - the older rooms were comfortable, if not stylish.

Staff, restaurant and facilities

It was amazing! Great breakfast, beautiful pool, friendly staff, gorgeous grounds, comfortable beds. What more can you ask for? Literally 3 km from downtown Bayeux.

Heated pool was fabulous. Appreciated the non slip surfaces all around as well as in pool. Also the jet stream in pool for a challenging swim and jacuzzi. Umbrellas for use during the rainy spells. Close to Normandy beaches.

Poor cereal options and eggs were not very appealing. Coffee machine didn't heat very well. And as typical in France, no decaf! Noisy neighbors.

The staff were perfect hosts. They were happy to make a dinner reservation at a family friendly local restaurant with delicious seafood. The rooms were luxurious and we enjoyed the large swimming pool later in the evening. The garden is a pleasure for walking and relaxing and has many seating spaces.

Staff was extremely arrogant, even for french standards. The restaurant tried to act posh but was lacking. Price was through the roof. Missing soap, dirty napkins, clogged draines, no towels in spa area. Pure disaster.

The outdoor and the common areas of the Chateau are wonderful. The restaurant is lovely and serves high quality food both at breakfast and dinner.

The room, despite being spacious, was a little outdated in decor.

The property, grounds and staff were charming and made us feel very special to stay at such a beautiful Chateau! Our room was large, and bathroom was updated! The location was close to Normandy tourist attractions including Bayeaux! Due to our late arrival and leaving early we did not get a chance to enjoy the pool, bar and breakfast; however, we look to visiting again.

Nothing - Everything was lovely!

Beautiful premises (inside and out), rooms comfortable and reception was accommodating to a late arrival. Restaurant also accommodated a veg option. Great location to visit Bayeux tapestry and d day landings sites.

Spa could do with a slight refresh, would be great to have alternative options to high end food. (Bar snacks?)

There is very little not to like about this Chateau. Prices at the bar as expected are quite steep but the quality cannot be questioned. The staff are extremely polite, helpful and want to make your stay enjoyable. Facilities are great with the pool jacuzzi and sauna available form early to late. Restaurant was fantastic and the food was sublime. Hearty continental breakfast was great standard Yes I would go back

Room 23 needs a wardrobe to hang shirts and dresses for the evening, that is my only gripe.

Lovely evening meal. Staff kindly changed a double room to a twin for us.

Ah! It’s a must visit experience for everyone. It is almost like living in a castle. Beautiful gardens, great staff, lovely spa. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. The city is so lovely and the people are very kind. The food is amazing.

Facilities exceptional

The room we were given was on the third floor in the attic up a winding staircase. There was no lift. Very difficult to take suitcases to room.

The property is stunning and I the perfect position if your intending g to visit the D-day landing sites

The communal areas of the property were amazing. Unfortunately the bedroom need updating they was clean but looked a little tired there was a distinct lack of power outlets in our room

Great environment, breakfast was super nice in a beautiful lounge with a view on the castle park.

Only cold water in the showers close to the swimming pool and Spa. Very slippery tiles in the Spa area, especially when wet.

The restaurant has only few choices and is very posh, as expected

The hotel room is rather small and the breakfast is not matching the image of the hotel. The staff is vey friendly and speak excellent English.

The room size is rather small. The breakfast offering is rather poor.
