Days Inn Dessau

This hotel was an economical choice as we were attending the 500th anniversary celebrations of the reformation of the ChristianChurch. We appreciated that it was just off of the main thoroughfare and allowed us two 25 minute routes to Wittenberg.

Not really a complaint but we chose not to purchase the breakfast for 10 Euros.

Good location, big room, great staff. One of the receptionist by my late check in, she went extra miles which is very RARE in Germany,

Tobias was a really nice guy. Outstanding value for money and practical to stay there when on a car journey. Good that there was self-check in. I was not aware until I arrived however. Maybe I had not read properly or perhaps the info could be clarified about that.

The lady at check-in was very friendly, and our dog was warmly welcomed. The dog fee was only €6, which was a great price. The place was quiet, and the hairdryer was powerful and worked very well.However, the room was not very clean, with a lot of dust everywhere, both in the room and in the dining area. We wanted to use the glasses in the room, but they had a strange residue, so we decided not to. Breakfast was very disappointing—€12 was completely overpriced for just a roll, a slice of ham and cheese, some fruit, scrambled eggs, and coffee. We stayed at breakfast for 50 minutes, and only in the last two minutes did someone finally bring out four croissants. The receptionist was wearing a hoodie and was also responsible for handling breakfast at the same time. When we wanted to check out, there was no one at the reception, as the receptionist was mostly in the kitchen.I will definitely not return.

The location was ok for the reason we were travelling,so near the main street and for a long distance trip was fine to rest .

Everything according to the description and photos, the room is well cleaned. Despite the great location near the highway, the rooms are quiet. A great place to explore Dessau-Roßlau and the surrounding area, or stay overnight while transiting.

Nice environment. The surroundings are very beautiful.

Beds were small and uncomfortable. We couldn't sleep till 3 am because of the loud music and sounds from the camping area nearby.

Rather clean but still quite dusty room (from under the bed and behind curtains).Bad sewer smell in bathroom due to some plumbing issue?The comfy bed was too comfy (too soft!). Pillows too thin and soft too. No refrigerator /minibar nor airco. Shower head leaked a lot so less powerful shower as a result.Decent breakfast but after 9.30 choices run out quickly and are not refilled.

Although we arrived very late, we were warmly welcomed at the reception, we immediately had everything arranged, paid for and explained. The rooms are tastefully furnished and clean. The location is absolutely ideal for relaxing during the car journey, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, there is really a generous amount of space for parking. Breakfast is healthy and balanced, a responsible operator does not waste food and keeps everything fresh.

Since there is no air conditioning, a mosquito net on one of the windows would be nice. The toilet is only in the hallway, I did not see the toilets at the reception or in the common areas, or they were not clearly marked or the way to them. The mattresses on the beds are too soft, but this is more a matter of taste than a shortcoming. However, when I sat down on the bed, I felt like I was going to sit on my own heels :D

Close to autobahn, which was convenient when we cpntinued driving early in the morning.Nice staff! Close to shopping mall and restaurants. Cheap!

No A/C, so warm room and noicy with open windows.. Not totally clean, we had to change one room.

Grumpiest receptionist ever. He was unpolite and gave us a lecture because we came 10 minutes before closing time. Actually quite childish behaviour.

The room looked fine and was clean, with a good-sized bed and shower. There was a little desk in the room too, which was really helpful. Having on-site parking was also an advantage.

There was no kettle or fridge, which was unfortunate. The location of the hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere with not many food options nearby.

Nice place to bring your dog. Friendly and helpful service.

Everything was OK considering the price. A little worn-out.

It was a little bit noisy sometimes and the rooms definitely need air condiotion. It was hot in the room.
