Radisson Hotel Fürst Leopold Dessau

Location was convenient for us, very close to the train station, public transportation, dining and shopping. We ate breakfast at the hotel one morning and it was pretty good. Staff was helpful.

Shower tile grout had spots of what looked like black mold. Beds very hard, pillows flat, carpet dirty. The "AC" wasn't -- a wisp of air on my hand at the vent. Their answer was to bring a small fan & tell us to open the window. Glad the nights were cool.

I liked the location

Our bedding wasn’t changed in 4 days , they left dirty towels in our room. Room was extremely warm and they couldn’t offer a solution

It was clean, our room was a superior double- really roomy and nice view of the park and theater! It is a bit outdated in regards to furniture and a little banged up, but this didn’t bother us. Great location and theater staff was really nice and helpful!!!

This hotel is ideally located, a short walk to the train station, the Opera, the Bauhaus museum and complex, the city centre, the hotel restaurant is very good, the receptionist Winkler was very welcoming and helped us a lot, we highly recommend staying at this hotel in Dessau.

Sauna area looked very outdated, empty rooms, one sauna didn’t work, terrace was not accessible. Breakfast is very expensive

Needs updating. Horrible dinner service. Hotel looks inside like a government administration building.

I wanted a location near the main railway station so that I could spend time doing research in town in the morning and then head back to the station in the afternoon. The hotel is situated just 5 minutes‘ walk away so it delivered on that front.

It was advertised as having air conditioning in all rooms but it turns out the system is not working so I felt very let down on that front. Because of the location I decided to stay and not change hotels but I did ask to be moved to another room.

Family room was big enough.

Air conditioning was almost not functioning. No bathtub. Bathroom door could not be locked. Parking garage is worn out and spot for electrical charge was used by non EVs.

The hotel is very comfortably located, the room was spacious and included everything we needed.

An air conditioner would be a good addition, as it got quite warm in the room.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast and parking close to the elevators.

Our only requirements when searching for a hotel was one with air conditioning, which this hotel writes in multiple places that it has. When we got there, the room was very hot, and there was barely any air coming out of the vents, and it was not cold. When speaking to the staff, they informed us that they actually don’t have air conditioning, but a central ventilation system, which clearly didn’t work either as no air was coming out. We had a horrible night as a result and quite a lot of mosquito bites as we had to leave the windows open, which was not enough to cool down the room. The staff did what they could to help, and I’m grateful for that. But it was very disappointing.

The hotel itself is gorgeous with a perfect location just a couple of minutes from Dessau train station. Room is excellent, spacious and well equipped in every aspect. The breakfast is super and lacking nothing.

The reception staff! Very annoying and to some extent condescending behaviour when we checked in - and out! Demanded a special deposit even though we offered to pay the bill for two nights in advance. When checking out staff totally ignored our information about the deposit we had made. Consequently we had to pay the full rate plus the deposit, making the fee almost double the announced. A day later we informed via mail that we demanded our money back. We got no response whatsoever! Not a word! However one week later we got our money back. We have never received such a scandalous treatment at any hotel in any country before!

The breakfast was amazing. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The variety of really good.

I asked for a fan during booking, but there was none in the room.

Electricity in the room was gone for an hour in the morning.

Room was big and wellness center was nice bonus.

They took a big security deposit (350€) and said that it takes 4 weeks to get the money back. We still had to pay for the room separately of course.We travelled with kids and bikes and didn't know that all the restaurants and shops were closed the second day, which was an exclusively German holiday.. Our kids needed lunch. The reception called the restaurant and told us to go to breakfast for a second time. Staff in the restaurant didn't let us get food for the kids even after the call from reception. In the wellness center were some sound that beeped at least for on hour.

Everything is spectacular, the staff is friendly, the facilities are very nice, it has a fabulous location.quite close to all the bauhaus buildingsWe were especially looked after by a wonderful and lovely person, I'm sorry I didn't learn her name, but she really was as kind as possible to us and I remember her a lot because she totally reminded me of Andy Warhol with a wonderful style.

Location perfect, room very good, very good breakfast, everuthing was very clean.

The Hotel is far too warm , we all slept badly due to the fact that it was far too warm in the rooms with the windows open and the thermostat off .The restaurant and bar were also very warm . I don’t know how the staff manage in the warm conditions.
