It was not the case...

We had great expectations from the Presidential suite and the impression went even beyond that. The room combines old art-nouveau features and modern applications. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, very well prepared, and equipped. All what was promised in the room's description online was actually included. I also want to appreciate the front desk staff. They were very nice, professional and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

I liked the size and comfort of the bed, also the room in general. My boyfriend liked the décor and the fact that the receptionist hit on him so to all the guys, maybe you can have a chance? ;)

This is really nice hotel right a few steps away from the city centre. The staff is superior, girls were very welcoming and did everything they could to make my stay very comfortable. Hotel is in the old famous building, in the city centre, but it is new and refurbished inside, very comfortable.

Both cabinets in our room defect. Poor breakfast (Better go to coffee „eggsit“, a 5min walk away). Restaurant closed.

We stayed in the DeLuxe suite and the size of the room was extraordinary – I would not expect how much this quality influenced my perception of the stay. If the hotel is excellent but the rooms are tiny (quite the usual setting), it is something completely different from what you can experience at Okresni Dům, where you have large square meterage and very high ceilings. We really felt royal – which we did not explicitly look for, but in the end it was the most important feeling our stay left in us.

Breakfast was good, fresh; maybe a little uncreative.

Low light in the bedroom. There was no small table or a place, where we could put our staff in the bathroom.

Very friendly staff in reception. Clean room. Very good internet.

Rather dark rooms. No light in celling, Only in corners. It is romantic, but not that good if you need to work in evening, Also there is almost no place to put your cloths. There is small cupboard but only to hang them. If you travel with a lot of them, most likely you will have to keep them in your suitcase.

Wonderful ambiance, decor and style. Location just off the city centre and a nice 20 minute walk to main train station.Breakfast very interesting and satisfying. Staff warm and welcoming. Thank you.

Bed too hard and difficult to get full nights sleep. Pillow too low for head and neck.

I like everything of this property1. Receptionist Sharka and Katrina were very helpful and went out of a the way to take care of your requirements 2. Room was spacious as compared to Europeon standards 3. Breakfast was good

This hotel is very special - majority of the interior parts were built some 100 years ago, but feel really well kept. It is like living in a museum of Czech golden age, from the 1920s with all the luxury and soft poshness you can imagine. Very kind people working there. Very charming and definitely worth visiting.

The small cafe belonging to the hotel is definitely worth re-opening!
