Hotel Liberec

Location, location, location - the hotel is at max a 5 minute walk from the town hall, gateway to the old town centre. Directly across the street is a shopping plaza - I'm not sure the location could get better. The breakfast is comprehensive for a 3-star European hotel - plenty of cheeses and cold cuts, mueslix, yogurt, bread, and jam, as well as scrambled eggs, bacon, and other hot items. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Also, super easy to get to with public transit.

They could update the corridors and one of the elevators.

It was all good. I wish the bar had been open, but apparently it's closed on Sunday - strange.

- Location- Parking- Kind receptionist- Kid's corner, game room, barOverall, it was much better than I expected. I didn't feel like it was noisy as the other people reviewed. But my windows were facing a courtyard/parking lot. It's definitely worth the price, for one night it was excellent.

Nothing really specific. It's an old hotel. But again, for the price, it's really good.

Quite central, has a parking area. The breakfast is OK. That is more or less all you can say on the positive side.

Cold room. Very noisy (due to nearby hospital you get to listen to ambulance and even helicopters, as well as trams and other noisy traffic on the street). The room was very basic and old-school, only the reception area of the building has received some limited renovation. If you like time-travel to the '80s, you will love it.

No coffee/coffee maker, very cold - radiator not possible to regulate temperature with, locked. I asked for portable heater at reception 2 times but no result. Once was sent the guy who spoke only czech, peaked and declated sth like 'it's winter'. Because of cold it was uncomfontable to sleep (had to wear sweater) and had to wear coat to use toiled. Also shower was tiny but no attempt to clean it was made - it was mouldy, same as ceiling in room.

Old room, smelly furniture, extremely uncomfortable bed (terrible mattress and pillow) and very thin walls that give you almost a full experience of whatever is happening in the next room. All of this has prevented me from sleeping throughout the whole night.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great. Near the main square and the university.

Rooms are an awful puke green. Very basic.

The breakfast was exceptional. The location is cozy. The staff was cute. Beds very comfortable.

I only recommend more healthy stuff to breakfast like seeds and nuts. But this is only a detail to have the breakfast 100% perfect.

Location is very convenient

-When I booked I used option “room with one big bed” and they confirmed it but at the hotel I received room with two small separate beds without possibility to move them. Hotel was almost empty but they didn’t give the room you asked. - very very noisy at the morning

Good location, centre of the town. The rooms were booked for the collaborators. They liked breakfast services and the comfort of the bathroom. Good internet connection. It was quiet regardless the location of the hotel. Electrical kettle was an advantage as well.

the quality of the pillows - they MUST be changed immediately.

Simple and straightforward three star hotel

Design- green walls all around in our room. Location- busy street below but no air conditioning…

Clean, very central located hotel with mostly very nice helpful staff. Room simple but fine for the price. A lot of sitting space near reservation, even with a gaming room nearby.

The restroom did not have a blow dryer which should be basic equipment nowadays. The bar did not have 2 simple non alcoholic drinks in stock while hotel was fairly packed. Speaks to poor organization. The cleaning staff changed all the towels while not neccessary nor wanted. They dont seem to be advised when to properly do so.

I really liked the interior space of the lobby and common areas on the ground floor. They had an idea to transform this old brutalist building into something nice and cool. I really appreciate the effort. I also liked the staff very much. The lady who worked on the reception during my stay was very nice, polite, spoke English very well and was very helpful. She is a real gem.

I didn't get the bed type I asked for and the single bed(s) in my room were very uncomfortable. Also I am not a big AC person, but in this heatwave I would appreciate in a hotel to have the possibility use it, or at least have a fan in the room, especially in this type of a building.

Good localization with private parking; nice staff; clean room with good towels.

Not enough light in the room- it was dark during the night, difficult to read something.Breakfast not recommended- small variety of food with poor quality of products.

Breakfast was really good, the best I have seen so far in czech hotels. Not communistic style of foods. Thank you for that! Rooms are ok, clean.

Beds not good and squeeking. If we booked for 2 adults and one kid, then why you do not give us towells for everyone? Kids are not washing themsleves?! Very weird dinner offer without warning us that spagheti are extremely extremely spicy, personnel (reception) knowing that we have a small kid even the waiter serving it in front of the 2 years old kida nd of course he started eating and sure hungry and hurting mouth of a kid is not someone would like to see! Even i could not finish it! Really you did not take care of guests that moment. Because we came by car, of course we had to park at the hotel which costs some fee a day - not expensive. But our car got broken down somewhere at a far parking and like loosers we were paying in advance the hotel parking. At our question if this costs can be returned because our car broke down, the lady told us she cannot cancel and return. Really?! It's a matter of principle here not money because we had much much bigger costs than your parking fee, having the car broken and had to use car moving service to our home in a far city.
