Pros +
- The hotel is super smart, modern but still chic and feels very clean. The location is very convenient for the ski lift and shops if one needs something. Staff are helpful.
- The hotel itself is fine; location is excellent, rooms are small but well appointed and the breakfast is good. However we booked two rooms a year in advance of our stay with a request that the rooms be located close to each other (the hotel doesn’t have interconnecting rooms), we were given rooms two floors apart at opposite ends of the hotel and told that that was the best they could do. As a family of five with three young children that made the stay inconvenient.
- Good
Cons -
- I thought the breakfast selection was rather limited as I have been spoilt in other hotels of a same star rating. What was my major annoyance was I chose the hotel as they advertised a sauna and whirlpool, but found out it is an extra cost! Also, parking is advertised, but that is an extra cost! It all adds up of course.
- Rooms are tiny. We had a 3 person room. But you couldn't stand up getting out of bed because of the sloping ceilings. Shower and toilet separate with no habdbasin inbrge toilet. A few bumped heads....
- Room wasn’t ready as requested and was 7pm so housekeeping had left

Great location for the slopes
Room wasn’t ready as requested and was 7pm so housekeeping had left
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and the bar was a lovely place to relax in the evenings. We also really enjoy the spa.
Restaurant menu was quite limited and very expensive.
Bring your own vegetables to the breakfast, you won't get any here
No vegetables for the breakfast, none, not a single one. Are you crazy? Brekafast starts at 7:45 only, the tracks open at 8:30, it is pretty crowdy in the morning because everybody wants to get to the slopes. And how about thse people who want to get up and eat earlier? Start at least by 7 am, 7:45 is insane. "Spa" erea is so tiny, they say it's for 4 people in reality it's for 2 max. And it's quite hard to fit int the shower there because it is tiny...
The room was a good size, well designed and decorated. The breakfast provided a reasonable range selection of different foods to suit all requirements
We only wanted to briefly use the spa area but it would have been €20 per person per visit, whether a guest of the hotel or not. Disappointing, so didn't try.
Proximity to Pontillas Ski Lift Next to the charming old village and the breakfast and dinner (half board) was excellent.
The location is very goodStaff nice and welcoming
Breakfast is very basic with poor selection. There is no vegetable The spa is with extra pay
Location
We were staying in room 24 and there was mould in the room. Breakfast was very mediocre. There was also bad smell especially around the lower floors near the ski room.
The family room was nice and comfortable. It had two TVs altough we never used them. The bathroom was very modern and excellent. No complaints there. The hotel is proper ski in- ski out, and very convenient.
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. A 3+ star yes. But not 4. The reasons being:1.) Although the morning breakfast selection is adequate, there is no staff in the kitchen, hence you cannot order a fried egg or an omlette. You have to be content with a ready-made and stale scrambled egg with a repulsive look and smell. The coffee is terrible.2.) This is not a SPA hotel. Yes, it has some facilities and a jaccuzi (1.5 meter square) where only 2 people can sit at the same time, but not enough to call itself a 4 star SPA hotel. And you have to book waaaay in advance to secure a place to sit in a jacuzzi. It was not possible for the duration of our stay.3.) The bar area next to the lobby is tiny with only 4 seating groups. And for some reason it is not staffed until 4 pm (probably wrongly assuming that everbody skis every day), and fire place is not always on for some reason. It would have been nice to come back from skiing and relax in front of a burning fire place. Maybe we should have insisted.
All of the staff were lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Axelle who was amazing at 4am on our departure day when we discovered that our transfer provider Alps2Alps never arrived and left us stranded! Axelle rang round taxi providers, brought us coffee and tried to help us, she was very supportive and we will never forget her kindness. Lovely dining room, bar/lounge and reception areas.
My husband kept banging his head on the dormer ceiling due to restrictive height in the room on his side of bed.
Bedroom was lovely with an excellent shower & toiletriesSecure parking for my motorcycleIdeal location for what I needed to travel to ValloireWifi goodStaff were very helpful, friendly & professionalFood was excellent - great evening menu & an amazing breakfast
Great place, very calm, nice spa. Adorable staff
Food was average. Could improve…
Very small rooms but very comfortable, well furnished and functional !!
Not much
Well, there was not enough staff so that you could get a clean table for breakfast. And the buffet was also more empty then full. The internet speed was extremely low so streaming was not an option.
Very close to the slopes, skiroom its very confy and good restaurant
Short breakfast menu
LocationFriendly staffCleanliness and great breakfast
A small room for 3 people
Access to the ski slopes. Very helpful staff.
Very small bedroom and bathroom. Rooms far too hot. No lounge available until after 4.00pm.
The staff is very friendly and polite. The access to the hotel is quite goodBreakfast is superb.)he chef was making a very delicious food for dinner, and even though the menu was fixed (no buffet
The SPA was scheduled through link that was send through booking, and when we arrived it turned out that we also needed to confirm it via phone or in person, they extra charge for SPA, it's only 45 minutes, very small and almost never available. I would consider this hotel as not having a SPA. Extra-charge for water at dinner.Fixed menu at the dinner with no choice . For people who prefer vegetarian or fish I would recommend not to order half board in advance, but rather choose dishes from the menu for extra price, The food was superb though. Huge kudos to the chef.
