The location and staff. Saint Florent is great place and I can recommend getting boat to Lotu. Walks and beaches there are great. Bed comfy and room well equipped

Air con - noisy. Could hear neighbours outside. Bathroom would flood when took a shower. Menu tasty but limited. Same 3 main dishes seem to be on every day for lunch and dinner.

Amazing grounds with lovely bar, pool and beach area. Great location with 10 min walk along the beach to the town. Friendly staff and comfortable room.

The breakfast is expensive, would prefer a la carte for that cost rather than a buffet.

La Roya is the cutest and the loveliest property located right on the beach in Saint Florent. It is quiet and away from the tourist crowds yet at the very center of the bay in close proximity to the town. Hotel restaurant is the absolute best and is highly recommended!!

We love the location, but first of all, we love the team there there is so helpful and nice to us.the new chef in the restaurant is fantastic. We had two meals there that was absolutely great. We got to meet the owner who is a passionate about Corsica and gave us a lot of different pointers

Really great location - close to St Florent (10 min walk along the beach) but far enough away to be quiet and secluded.

Stunning beach front location, comfortable sun loungers, spacious well kept gardens, clean pool area and plenty of relaxation areas. The hotel and room was exceptionally clean, lovely toiletries in the room, exceptional room cleaning service and friendly, helpful reception/front of house staff. Good location for a nice walk into the town where you can catch a water taxi to the beautiful Lotu beach with white sands and turquoise seas, great for snorkelling if you take a short walk west of the beach. Really good food from the restaurant though few options and quite pricey, otherwise a 10 minute walk to town for other dining options.

Whilst breakfast offered plenty of options, there often seemed to be empty coffee pots (would have preferred the buffet breakfast with coffee/tea table service), and the breakfast waitress wasn't very helpful or friendly, she didn't speak English nor did the staff in the restaurant, though they were at least friendly so that didn't matter. We did address this with the management who were more than helpful and explained that following covid there was a shortage of staff working in hospitality so having staff who spoke other languages proved to be challenging. This didn't spoil our holiday though and the management were very understanding and helpful.

Difficult to locate staff and weren’t very helpful when dealing with them. The only choice of food in the evening was a 5 or 6 course meal! Not the best idea when you are not hungry or don’t actually like or want all the courses.

The location of the Hotel was great. Set away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but still within walking distance. The view from the room was also beautiful.

The bedroom was on the small side. We couldn’t fit our two cases on the bedroom floor so had to put one in the bathroom! Our biggest complaint was value for money. It was advertised as luxury and we paid the price for luxury. However, whilst the hotel and its position were lovely, the size of the room, the hotel facilities and general standards did not match the price we paid and the luxury advertised. Our final gripe was the fact we paid 50 euros for breakfast for 2 and by no means was it worth that!

the hotel is right on the beach just a short walk from Saint Florent. the staff were very friendly, rooms perfectly appointed with effective air con which was needed in the heat. the hotel also has a pool so you can choose between a sea swim and a pool dip.
