Our room was a little cramped. Personally, I would remove some of the furniture to open it up a little. Toilet was very narrow.
Our stay in Mas des Herbes Blanches was truly outstanding. The property itself was luxurious, elegant, and beautifully maintained—every detail was curated with care and quality. It offered the perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and tranquility. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff. They were warm, professional, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. Their genuine hospitality made us feel completely looked after, and nothing ever felt like too much to ask.A particularly thoughtful gesture was the private tour they arranged for us—it was a wonderful and unexpected highlight, showing just how much they go above and beyond for their guests. We are so grateful for such a memorable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing escape in Provence.
Everything about the property was first class. A set of architecturally beautiful buildings in an ideal setting. The room decor and comfort - excellent; the dining experience - delicious food and perfect setting. But most of all, the staff was the most accommodating and knowledgeable of any we ever experienced. One of the finest properties we have ever been to.
The views, the beautiful rooms & the staff were very attentive.
beautiful hotel with amazing views - really a lovely relaxing spot to stay in the Luberon
Rooms are on the small size but very nicely appointed
The charm of Provence
Expensive, expected more from Relais and Chateax brand, a suite positioned on the top of the restaurant, could not use the nice terrace because of the smell from the kitchen, but it was so strong we even don't open the windows, noisy also as we heard all the time the staff working and talking loud, I could not believe that such a place was sold for a suite.
This was our second time there. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The quality, luxury and service are exceptional.
The restaurant is amazing but expensive.
The location was superb
We were not told that we had to book dinner when staying there which would have been helpful as there were not many other places around to have a meal and the one dinner we did have was poor. Luckily we did find another Relais and Chateau nearby that was happy to take us for dinner in spite of being told by our hotel that they were fully booked.
The Luberon is a stunning area and, just next to Gordes, Joucas is a gorgeous village. The staff from front desk, to car valet (and washing !), to the waiters were all smiling and helpful. The pool here in the morning was a delight. Dinner on the terrace with views of Roussillon and Bonnieux was a privilege and they found shade and brought water for our dog. Our room even had a small terrace where we could let our dog out in the morning.
There is nothing not to like here.
Location, facilities, room, staff (particularly Lorraine was super helpful to suggest and arrange plans and meals)
Breakfast was too limited and not great quality, not according to the price and category of the hotel.
Staff was nice and helpful, the view was beautiful.
Though it was mid June, it felt like the hotel was still not fully operational. Decour was a bit outdated. Overall it felt like borderline 5 stars. Restaurant was a bit overpriced.
excellent location and wonderful views .
The dining facilities. Unless you wanted to dine Relaix & Chateaux each night which was overly priced and questionable quality, you were subjected to sitting in a line of poor tables which were placed in the outside corridor that led to the main restaurant. The only alternative was the bar restaurant menu was very restrictive and poor quality. unfortunately they created a them and us situation!!
Very quiet Staff amazing
We had been upgraded to a room of the leberon with a terrace but instead we had a room with no view . I feel I would struggle to find something on the menu as a vegetarian
Privacy, quiet, food onsite. Staff were very kind and extremely helpful. The bussers for breakfast worked so hard - especially the blond woman! We also enjoyed the atmosphere of dinner on the patio (not only for the beautiful view and delicious food, but also for the dining staff. They made the atmosphere fun and enjoyable while maintaining professionalism. Hospitality to a T! Very hard to do.
I really enjoyed the outside pool. The style of the hotel is very charming.
Very unfriendly staff at the breakfast room. I was repeatedly ignored and refused to order. There was not enough food at the breakfast table, as items like bread and cheese kept running out.
This is a an amazing hotel. We got a Suite room, which was wonderful. The view at breakfast is a fantastic. And the restaurant serves delightful meals. Everything was just perfect.
Beautiful views and comfortable rooms
Breakfast had limited options despite high prices, food exposed covered in bugs, flies, bees, seems to be ignoring basic hygiene at the buffet
Spacious room with nice balconyHeated swimming poolWonderful architecture and beautiful views of the surroundingsDelicious breakfast with a large choice of pastries, charcuterie, fresh drinks, ... Flexible checkout timingsMost of the staff were friendly and helpful
Apart from the breakfast (which was perfect), the prices of the menu were overly expensive, even for the region. We paid 40 EUR for 4 scoops of icecream in carton packagings with small, wooden spoons! 35 EUR for a tiny chicken filet without side dishes. Still water was not always free. Choice of food for room service was limited, quality mediocre and expensive. Even in Geneva we get more value for money for food. I would have given a 10/10 but this really impacted our stay a bit.
