Pros +
- Great location for all the big TDF climbs. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Newly updated rooms. On site bike storage and work stations. Breakfast was good and had all the necessary fuel for a cyclist. I’ll be back for sure.
- Location was great for cycling. Close to but not in town and close to the path. Breakfast was good and lots of variety.
- Love the host. She’s super sweet and helpful. The breakfast has many options and wonderful. Absolutely love the croissants.
Cons -
- Showers/ Bathroom were a little tight. I’m 6 foot, 170 lbs, so not a big guy.
- It was warm and since no AC it would have been nice to have a fan or something to circulate air.
- Pity the cook was sick, would have loved to eat in their restaurant.

Friendly welcome, including a recommendation where to best ski (after asking our level of skiing). Location was good, just 15 minutes drive to Les 2 Alpes.
Pity the cook was sick, would have loved to eat in their restaurant.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is in a convenient location for a ski lift in Alps D Heauz if you are traveling by car, It is a good price for a value.
In the upper-level room strange noise in the bathroom in the morning, probably ventilation or pipes, but we managed to deal with earplugs just fine, our friends who stayed on another floor didn't have the same issue.
Recently tastefully refurbished, excellent quality furnishings, refined yet relaxed ambience, friendly attentive staff, spotlessly clean comfortable rooms and public spaces.
USB charging points would be a welcome addition in rooms and/or guest lounge.
A lovely hotel with mountain views & full of period features, renovated to a very high standard with a very comfortable & relaxing bar & lounge. Well located on the edge of town ,close to the main bus station giving good links to all surrounding areas. There is even a free shuttle bus running each way between the ski resorts of les deux alpes & Alp du huez. Friendly & helpfull staff giving all the imformation needed to help you make the most of the local area. Food in the restaurant is very nice, again in a grand & spacious room & there is plenty of choice available for breakfast. I will certainly return when possible & would recommend for a short or longer stay in this area.
Location good and easy to find. Large room with plenty of space clean and comfortable. Helpful staff and good food.
The sliding doors on the bathrooms were not very good and would be better as normal doors. The restaurant was closed Wednesday night and it seems so was most of the town meaning it was tricky to get a meal that night !
Welcoming and clean hotel. Staff helpful and breakfast was delicious
Convenient location close to ski resorts (car recommended though), friendly and helpful staff, lovely lounge area to chill with a drink after a long day of skiing, delicious continental breakfast buffet, room simple but spacious and functional with a modern bathroom and beautiful view from the window. Other guests are quiet and I haven't been bothered by any night noises.
Bathroom door was a bit annoying.
Great location and nice parking Nice old hotelLovely big room with well appointed en suiteVery nice breakfast with plenty choice
Room had only two smallish windows and not ideal fir viewsLift was out of order second day and we were on 4th floor
Perfectly located at the foot of Alpe d'Huez with a big garden and bike garage. English speaking and very friendly staff. Good choice of continental breakfast and great kitchen for dinner.
Lovely old hotel opposite the bus station and ideally situated for an stroll into the townFantastic communal rooms and a nice outdoor sitting areaDespite warnings about water pressure the showers were excellent; strong and hotDecent breakfast although it could be improved by the addition of some hot choicesLovely friendly and helpful staff
Basic but clean bedrooms that lacked any form of any storage spaceIt would have been good to offer portable fans as it was exceptionally hot during our stay and there is no AC or ceiling fansFront facing rooms were often noisy due to road traffic and bus station
Nice view 360 all around and very comfortable. We enjoyed outside area also.( very pretty)
We got double space include kitchen area but nothing in the kitchen not even cups or spoons.
We liked the location - very easy to get and parking was easy to. Also we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and possibility of dining in the garden. The breakfast was simple, but excellent.
We missed air-condition in our room and there was a bit of noise from the main road, since we had to sleep with our windows open.
Historical building with lovely restaurant, bar and common areas. Room was simple but comfortable. Staff were very kind. The bike locker felt secure. Complementary breakfast was great before long cycling days. Note that the restaurant isn't open for dinner every night, which is totally understandable but unfortunate for guests as it's the best option in town! Food was delicious, we would have liked to eat there again had it been open. Overall very happy with our stay and would gladly return.
Super comfortable modernized old hotel from the 19th century. Great for cyclists with own bike storage. We arrived late but they were happy to wait until our arrival that looked to be after closing hour.
A bit limited breakfast buffet.
A great family-run hotel. Excellent restaurant and facilities for cyclists
The staff were very friendly and plenty of parking.Only a couple of minutes walk into the town. Was a pleasant stay thank you.
