    Pros +

    • Very clean, staff pleasant. Good location for supermarkets. Easy to get to Calais.
    • The location is convenient for the port and channel tunnel. We were given neighboring rooms which was really great.
    • Great place, my wife was very sceptical with the idea but the next day she was estatic.Breakfast was awesome.

    Cons -

    • The amount of activity relating to the pick up of workers hanging around at the hotel reception.
    • Entirely our fault, but I didn’t notice that the rooms we booked did not have their own bathroom. Worth checking. That said, the shared bathrooms were not ideal. The toilets did not have a sink so you had to go back to your room to wash your hands. There was supposed to be sanitizer spray to wipe down the toilets seats but two of the three toilets on our floor had run out. There was a wall mounted hand sanitizer spray outside the toilets but it was empty and when I told reception, they just directed me to another unit near the front door. It was still empty when we checked out 18 hrs later.
    • Some showers had no soap, so I had to wash with toothpaste.

How clean it was for a quite basic hotel, it does what it promises, a safe, clean hotel to get your head down for the night, before taking the Eurotunnel or Ferry and it's pet friendly. The rooms are very small, but the beds are super comfy with crisp clean linen, spotlessly clean everywhere and would definitely stay again.

Nothing, it was a surprise at how perfect it was for our needs

perfect overnight before the ferry crossing

    extra for an ensuite room

    5JohnPosted on: 4-25-2025

    Passable

6 figure code to arrive late wasn’t sent. Arrival after 9pm not recommended

clean tidy room, sufficient space for 2 people,

Poor breakfast; not as before when we have stayed here. At 8.30 bread options limited - no croissants, cold meats or chesses and all fruit had gone. Some guests had taken extra bananas for midday snacks likewise the croissants and cheese. With still 1 hour to go before breakfast finished we were more than a little disappointed.

Value 4 money is excellent. For a 1 night stay. Good wifi too.

    8DawnPosted on: 4-13-2025

It was exactly as described. We needed somewhere to stay for a few hours having just got ff eurotunnel. Very basic but that’s reflected in the price. It was fit for purpose

Nothing really. If I was going to be picky then and extra pillow might be nice

    8NicolePosted on: 4-6-2025

    Easy, cheap, clean.

There was nothing not to like, apart from not having toilet and shower in room, feels more like a hostel than a hotel.

    7EricaPosted on: 4-6-2025

It was convenient. Had stayed there before so knew what to expect. Very basic budget hotel. Beds are quite hard. One of the towels in our room was badly stained.

    5TimPosted on: 4-5-2025

I arrived around 1400 and not all the rooms were ready. I asked the cleaner could she do my room next or, at least, could I put my luggage into the room. I was refused both and told to come back at 1600.

    6EricaPosted on: 3-26-2025

Conveniently located, was a bed for the night.

Didn’t realise most of the rooms are not en suite. Not ideal in the middle of the night. We were able to upgrade but if we’d been ten minutes later it would not have been possible as reception is only manned for a few hours. There was also no one around when we went for breakfast and we had no idea how to contact anyone.

Excellent location for overnight stop before Eurotunnel crossing . Very small but clean and comfortable ensuite room

Nothing to complain about for the price

    8AlisonPosted on: 3-4-2025

It was great to go there quickly and sleep after a late crossing from folkstone

It said that would be breakfast until 9:30 but it was closed at 9:20

Convenient for Eurotunnel and A26. Secure gated parking. Comfortable basic room with a shower.

    Nothing considering price point.

    9AdrianPosted on: 3-3-2025

Clean cheap and convenient with very helpful staff

    2HayleyPosted on: 2-20-2025

    The rooms were warm

The staff were quite intimidating and location was in a shady area with police patrolling on foot at night.

    9JessicaPosted on: 2-16-2025

It was lovely, clean and convenient with friendly staff

Had to leave room in middle of the night to go toilet

    7PeterPosted on: 2-15-2025

For the price breakfast was good. This was just an overnight stop for us and was cheap but satisfactory.

Judging by the security fences around the hotel I would guess that the area is a little rough. Fine for an overnight stopover.
