Just as comfortable and welcome as previous stays.

Since our last stay the hotel charges for everything have increased massively, making it the most expensive one night stay we have experienced on our entire European trip over the last 2 months. Next time we will book somewhere on the English side of the tunnel.

The Reception Staff as well as the Restaurant Staff. Really helpful and welcoming.

The beds could be a little more comfortable.

The location, the hotel itself was lovely. The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. We loved that we had access to the pool and the other facilities. It was clean and modern. Great location next to the tunnel and also near a huge shopping centre with lots of shops, food places and arcades/bowling!

Very little. It was lovely. My 8 year old son hasn't stopped telling everyone about it.

This is a really nice and relaxed hotel. The staff are very accommodating, professional and very friendly, the facilities onsite are perfect, the restaurant/breakfast buffet and bar are also very efficient and well maintained. We were travelling with a small baby who just learned to walk so staying in a hotel that has lots of green areas and is pet friendly meant he was happy to be outside watching dogs and the brood of chickens that roam the green near the hotel. The hotel made sure that everything required for a baby was in our room already or was available in the common areas. We liked it so much that we booked it again for our return trip and we would have no hesitation booking again in the future.

Staff were very friendly, the accommodation was great, the atmosphere was relaxing and the breakfast was excellent. There was nothing to dislike.

The pool closed far too early! Should extend it by at least 2 more hours. When calling on the phone, it would be many many tries befor phone gets answered. There is a very loud cockeral somewhere that announces the morning!

Stayed at this hotel for many years - rooms always spotless , good breakfast selection . Staff all great especially Fransico who always gives a warm welcome.

The pool was a great surprise and a lovely addition. The bar was a great place to relax while our children played pool. The electric car chargers were the reason we booked but the hotel was a real surprise - loved the chickens!!

The stairs and landing needed a hoover

Breakfast is charged on the assumption you have FULL ENGLISH. They do not offer you the cold/continental option, which is of course cheaper

The reception staff were exceptionally pleasant and professional, providing us with a warm and welcoming arrival. Due to a change in our plans, we had to depart during the early hours. The lovely lady at Reception kindly prepared a coffee for us to take away, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Thank you for the outstanding service.

Our experience at the hotel restaurant was somewhat disappointing. The staff were not particularly proactive; we struggled to order a second drink and eventually decided to go to the bar ourselves. While the food was of an adequate standard, it has been better on previous visits. At no point were we asked if our meals were satisfactory, and we also found it difficult to get a member of staff’s attention when we wished to pay. Overall, the service did not meet the standard we have come to expect.

We stayed an emergency night at the Holiday Inn after our car broke down and we missed our ferry back to the UK. We had two very distressed young, disabled children, and thankfully, the Holiday Inn was perfect. We were able to check in quickly with helpful staff, and the children quickly calmed down in our very spacious room. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel the next morning which had something we could all enjoy. We also made use of the pool facilities with the children, to keep them occupied while we waited for our insurance to sort out our repatriation to the UK.

Sadly we had to book in for a second night at the Holiday Inn and our original room wasn't available so we had to move. I appreciate this couldn't be helped but it's worth noting that our second room was much smaller than our original room, but more expensive!

The location was convenient for Le Shuttle and the bed was comfortable.

The floors were dirty, breakfast had plenty of choice but was tasteless (avoid the scrambled eggs!), the toiletry bottles in the bathroom were empty and the gym and swimming pool don't open until 9.00am, so it's not possible to exercise before breakfast.

Bath ridiculously narrow at base,I literally got stuck in bath. Couldn’t manoeuvre my legs to get out took 15 mins

Very nice modern hotel, clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Dogs are allowed in the bar, and you can hear them barking sometimes. Our son has hyperacusis so I guess it is rare to have such a requirement but just to mention.Small issue: The door to the stairs is the same colour as all the other doors and easily missed!

The room was beautiful. Spacious, comfortable and clean. Dinner was good and the bar for a quiet chat to finish of the evening with a brandy was a delight too.The Pool was a bonus and started the morning off with relaxed swim.The stay was relaxed and delightful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

A few more coffee capsules would have been useful as would have a good black tea. Peppermint / herb tea would have been useful too.
