B&B HOTEL Calais Terminal Cite Europe 4 etoiles

I ALWAYS STAY AT THE B & B 4 STAR (MAKE SURE YOU BOOK THE 4 ETOILES AS THE OTHERS REALLY ARE NOT UP TO IT). BREAKFAST IS QUITE GOOD, BIT SLOW WITH THE REFILLING BUT IT WAS BUSY. STAFF ARE WONDERFUL, VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE.

I REALLY DISLIKED HAVING TO LEAVE IT AND GO HOME. THE NON-REFUNDABLE BIT WAS A BIT OF A PAIN AS I HAD 1 DAY IN HOLLAND WHICH MEANT I WAS PAYING FOR 2 HOTELS AT THE SAME TIME, BUT THEN I SHOULD HAVE BOOKED DIRECT AS I NORMALLY DO, NOT THROUGH AGENTS.

Only had one day breakfast. Generally good but the cooked bacon was not very nice - limp and greasy.

See above cook the bacon and keep it warm on a pad of kitchen paper.

Large rooms. Nice service

AC didn't work. Noise. People smoke near the entrance. Can't stream to TV or connect a USB stick. Almost no English TV stations

Perfect location for Le Shuttle travelers. Very clean, friendly staff, etc. Breakfast available.

The huge police presence in the rooms on ground zero is a bit off-putting because it’s a surprise. Just inform guests in advance. Bathroom in a module feels kindof cheap.

Very spacious room with 3 beds to hodt our family and dogs - probably the safest and most spacious car park in France!

Location, standard of room facilities. The added extras of coffee machine and minibar goodies were a proper treat.

It was too warm overnight in our room. The climate control in the room didn’t seem to go cool enough.

Superb location for our mini break. Right by the major hypermarkets and across the road from Cite Europe. Superb and friendly staff. Lovely and comfortable room. Highly recommended. Will stay again here!

Very kind staff and delicious pastries for breakfast. Lovely room and comfy beds. A great start to our holiday (family of 4).

Great location for Le Shuttle. Nice big bedrooms.Great touch to add kids corner with games.

Not knowing which building we were meant to check in at. I didn't know there would be that many.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was excllent, a short distance from the Euro Tunnel. Breakfast was excellent and staff were most efficient in keeping supplies well stocked. Very good parking on site. Room was spacious and comfortable.

I expected a bit more hot food for breakfast but it was just scrambled eggs and bacon. Coffee was good. Lots of other cold food there but didn't touch them.Room was large and it was lovely. Bathroom and toilet are separated. Bathroom was extrmely pleasant. Coffee machine with coffee pods are a bonus.So close to the Shuttle. Only took me 7 mins to get there so I got a train 1 hour earlier. Bonus.Would stay again if back in Calais again.

Room walls/decor were a bit outdated. I slept on the cot bed/ fold up bed/ spare bed (whatever u call it) and it wasn't that comfortable. It's for children to sleep on, not adults.

Easy to get to from the channel tunnel. We stayed the night to split up our longer travel so being this close to the tunnel was ideal.People said the amount of police was a negative but it filled me with some confidence in the security of the area.The room was well laid out and tidy. The toilet room and bathroom were separate. The shower pressure and heat was really good.

It wasn't clear if the "mini bar" would have charged us. Also the "mini bar" could've been mistaken as the previous customers left overs as it was just a small handful of bits shot in a mini fridge.There was coffee, tea and biscuits but the biscuits were open and one was missing. I assume it had been eaten and left by the previous customers.
