Sure Hotel by Best Western Calais Coquelles Tunnel s/ Manche

Near shops and hypermarket

Safe car park,good location

Room too small

Location, staff, bar

Not far from the ferry, so good location. We have 2 single bed room, space was not generous but adequate. Breakfast for was also okay, but nothing spectacular

room size, limited choices for breakfast

Excellent location and parking. Comfortable and quiet.

The room was very small but it was adequate for what we needed.

The room was made up of two sections Lounge and Bed room area, the Lounge area was good with mini fridge and large sort of wicker armchair, bed good.

The large wicker armchair does not work as it is only seating for 1 person and there are 2 in the room, my suggestion would be 2 tub type armchairs and a coffee table.

Location was perfect for walking to a nearby restaurant after a long ride, Auchan for take home bits, and the shuttle.

When checking in we asked if there was somewhere we could sit with friends that evening to play cards, and was offered the bar area. On returning from dinner at 9.30pm we found everything had been closed and locked, and the staff said we had to either go outside or to our rooms (which are very small). There was no apology from the hotel staff for not informing us of a time restriction, and no offers of compromise. Very disappointed that a hotel was not able to offer an area for people to sit outside of their rooms. And thankfully it was not too cold, or wet to sit outside. Also the toilet broke twice in one of our rooms, a repair was attempted, no offer offer of a different room, and very inconvenient.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful. Good breakfast. Parking on site. Nicely decorated rooms and breakfast room.

We liked everything.

Basic but clean and polite staff would stay again

from start to finish a pleasant stay a comfortable clean ensuite room friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit hurried because of our Shuttle booking but the owner actually started breakfast early for us. will be staying there again later this Year.

Convenient for the tunnel crossing

Quite a walk round to the Bistro for something to eat at night. Would be good to be able to take a short cut through the fence!

Great location, restaurants close by, very warm welcome.

Location and Friendly staff

Stingy with the tea coffee and creamer in the room

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, very comfy. For a short stay like we had to overnight waiting for the tunnel pass, absolutely perfect and good value for money

Very basic. Very small room. Bathroom also tiny. It’s ok for 1 night.Free secured parking. Receptions been very lovely and helpful.

Very small room and small bathroom.

Comfort , price, nearness to restaurants and bars. Ideal location for channel tunnel

Helpful staff. Good location for Eurotunnel terminal

Very small room. No restaurant. Breakfast no more than adequate

The pillows definitely need replacing, green show cushion was broken up and nothing to it. Shower screen leaked badly, big puddle on floor. Both coffee cups different, one with handle ok but the other one terrible design and try to hold especially if you have arthritis or something similar.

The hotel and experience was Grim - miserable staff, rooms were tiny and over priced Worst experience ever

Perfect location for the tunnel, really friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Rooms small but functional. Great to have a kettle in the room.

The rooms are very small but fine for a night.
