Pros +
- location was fabulous. We could even have walked to the train station. The area has an adorable neighborhood and the hotel itself is beautiful. My room was the white large room and it was gray and spacious. I felt like a queen. It was very quiet and comfortable and a nice large bathroom. The breakfast was adorable and I really enjoyed it.

- Excellent location.
Cons -
- We got two rooms (two people in each room) and the rooms were set up with only one towel, comforter, and one pillow. It is not a big deal but it was hard to communicate with the young receptionist because she had a hard time understanding English and she kept bringing me the wrong items. The next day receptionist kept talking to us in German when I told her we do not speak German. It is OK if they don't but speak English at least have some basic English and/or use the iPhone translator. Communication was the most undesirable part of it, but we understand that they were not required to communicate in English. I just thought that for this type of business an employee should have at least the basics to communicate with the clients. It was also hard for my husband to have to go up so many steps because our room was upstairs and you may have to go up 3 floors depending of where you enter the building. Other than that the hotel is adorable.
- Internet wifi connection rather bad. Can be improved by adding a wifi repeater or enhancement.
- The internet is not great, there are quite often interruptions, and the quality depends on the location in the room. It is recommended to add a view additional wifi-amplifiers in the hotel.

Very lovely place near the city centre and train station, staff was very nice and helpful, room was big, bright and cosy
The only problem was, it was a little cold in the bathroom, there was no heat there, only in the room itself. Also the pillows were a little bit weird, too soft and small
Beautiful hotel, central location, quiet area, large rooms, nice staff but with somewhat lack of knowledge in english.
definitely a TOP recommendation for a trip to Greifswald. In easy walking distance of the main train station. Also the old Hanseatic town centre can be reached in 5 minutes walking time. The harbour of Greifswald is only a couple of more minutes along the old city wall. The rooms are quite spacious. People are real sweet and give you all kinds of hints for exploring the area. A great stay!
Friendly staff. Good location just next to the city. Close but quiet.
Room 5 at the bottom of the stairs was a bit loud in the early morning.
Warm welcome and very helpful staff
No kettle nor mini bar
Very pretty old hotel. We had a lovely large room with a big comfortable bed. The staff were lovely.
They charged extra for breakfast and parking (maybe this is just a German thing..?). The breakfast itself was not fresh. Cold foods should be kept on a cooling tray and warm foods on a heating tray. The food was not being refilled when it ran out.
Great breakfast, very comfortable bed, very nice and quiet room
Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! My room was spacious, neat and clean with a beautiful view of the street. The staff was kind enough to accommodate me before the check in time which was amazing. Very friendly staff overall. The location is very close to Main Railway Station of Greifswald and the Marktplace is also only a few minutes by walk. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend this hotel to everyone.
The location of the hotel is ideal, it is just a street away from the start of the centre. Also, the parking lot is right beside the hotel and closed off from the public.
The beds were uncomfortable, squeaky and the pillows were hard to sleep on and smelly. The furniture is IKEA that has a lot of wear-and-tear and makes it look worse than it is. The bathroom hasn't been changed since the 90s and the lamp right above the sink produces so much heat that it's unpleasant. There is no noise-isolation, everything that goes on in the hotel can be heard, especially in the morning when the guests wake up before you and when all traffic passes on the cobblestone road outside. Without the windows open at night, there is no air circulation and so you have to live with the noise.
