Maritim Hotel Bad Homburg

Great location, fantastic staff, and awesome breakfast.

It was very central to the shops and parks.

There was major renovation going on at the 3rd floor right outside of our hotel room. From our room to the elevators, the floors were loosely taped off with floor covering. It was dangerous to walk through the area throughout the day, especially my husband who has physical issues with his walking. We were never told when booking the room that we would be in the center of a building project. In addition there was a major street repair going on right outside our hotel. A bit of noise coming from the upstairs renovation and the street repair. I want to note, renovations are necessary at times, however for the guests wellbeing, the room we were staying in should have been temporarily closed off for the duration of the project. I only have photos from the street repair.

Cleaning on rooms was bad. The cleaners didn’t wash also the glasses that we used in night before.. room service was very weak for example I arrived from airport and wanted to order some food at the time before 10 PM but their service was closed and they didn’t accept order

Very comfortable room, good breakfast buffet. Bathroom small and airless, hairdryer needed more power. Great location for town centre, Kurpark, etc

The room was a good size and comfortable. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Great location to walk to old town or in the park. However the staff was quite rude and unhelpful.

Nice room with balcony,modern shower. Very good breakfast buffet. Excellent location, right in the center near shopping streets, old town and not far to the train station.

They need to vacuum the carpets more, in the hallways and the hotel rooms! We opted for just one day of cleaning, the guy came right into our room ( no knocking first!). Cleaned just the bath room which was ok.

Big rooms with very comfortable beds. Indoor Pool & Sauna were not crowded.

No coffee machine in the rooms.

Very nice room, one of the best rainfall showers possible and soundproofing that worked during a very loud festival right outside. Super hotel.

Uber Eats unfortunately does not work normally in this area, there is no tracking to show when the delivery arrives, messaging failed and they reduced my name to 2 initials. After pacing around the entry for a long time staring hungrily at my phone exactly like the guy who missed his dinner I inquired at reception and got quite a lecture on how I needed to have Uber Eats be different and was given the meal left at reception. This is a routine thing, understand it correctly, and do not lecture your guests.

Breakfast was exceptional - choice, presentation with a beautiful view over the Kurpark - absolutely something and more for everyone. The room was spacious and quiet with comfortable beds, good decor and plenty of accessible sockets for phones, laptops etc. We particularly liked that the room safe is at waist height, no need kneel to use it as is usual in many hotels. The bathroom was practical and functional, the water temperature in the shower was easily adjusted and constant.

I have nothing negative to say.

I preferred to choose from a menu rather than a buffet in the evening. Pillows far too soft on the bed.Would of preferred a bigger choice of UK TV channels rather than just 2-3 news channels.

Location is amazing with great view to the park, was nice to have 2 apartments with a revolving door as kids could have their own room. Breakfast was good.

There is no parking, only public one under the hotel, one gets a discount from reception.There was no iron in the room.The pool looked nice and water warm but the room temperature it was just suffocating hot inside, there was no AC or windows, think was over 40 degrees like a sauna in the pool area so we couldn’t stay. And it couldn’t be adjusted…

I had a very big room. I had two television and a very comfortable bed.I think it was the most expensive room was in the hotel.

In the very centre of the town and closer to the all restaurants and shops.

The breakfast was amazing, staff super polite and there is a small cozy bar at the ground floor that looked very cool

In the room they can add some basic things such as shoe polisher or toothbrush
