Parkhotel Bad Homburg

Very nice hotel in a nice small town. The location is great. The room was huge and very comfortable.The lady in the breakfast room was sooo nice. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

The rooms in the right building are nice, the ones in the older building are a bit worn down. What is nice is the complimentary bottle of water and the gummibears on the pillow.

It was freezing cold when I got into the room.

I know this Hotel for 10 years, good quality, good service, friendly relationship with staff.The location is the best in the city. Breakfast as usual meets the value.

Plenty of parking. Clean room. Stores and restaurants within easy walking distance. Beautiful park across the street.

The spa was only open until 9:30 p.m.

Perfectly located to park, restaurants and Main Street. Very clean and well laid out. Great water pressure in showers.

VERY POOR was (for me, 1st time ever) the choice of "not having your room cleaned" to help save the environment??? + a daily reward goodie the morning after on your doorknob.(*I am totally bilingual in German / English, so no "lost in translation" problem here.)CLEANING THE ROOM to means vacuming, washing WC floors, balcony area sweep, etc.It does NOT mean:- the guest will NOT receive fresh towels the entire stay,- no rubbish bins, esp. with fresh fruit etc. remains, would be emptied. Not even toilet paper refills. Not sanitary and an open invitation all day, when you open your balcony door and the flies, etc. come in (I finally put both bins outside my room into the hallway, with the used, wet,towels - not a pleasant task, even more so after 9 days in the hospital with fall injuries.- there was an entire small kitchen with 2 stovetop burners, sink, good-sized fridge, big sink, shelves and cupboards.BUT not one spoon or cup or plate. No water-boiler. And my gift was forgotten the last 2 mornings.Again, not being very mobile after arm and leg injuries, I had to go from my 3rd floor room down to the hotel entrance /lobby, to ask reception for a cup, spoon and hotwater for tea. I was led into the darkened breakfast room, where I was given a cup for the water boiler there. Then balanced boiling hot cup back up to the 3rd floor, lukew wat.On the day I left, I politely submitted my complaints re: all the above and 1 young woman said, "Oh, we have water-boilers available for the rooms; you should have asked." The FOUR STAR HOTELS I have visited all over the world, would not have had the need to make that reply.The breakfast was plentiful but not unusual for Germany, where breakfast is THE no.1 point of importance for most of my friends and colleagues. Over-the-top was only the price: €21,00.

No milk for the tea & coffee although there is a fridge in the room.

Great hotel, spotlessly clean, fabulous room, great shower and a great breakfast. Friendly staff too !!

Great location in centre of Bad Homburg - easy to get to, facing the park - with good indian and Chinese restaurants on the premises - excellent price/quality ratio and great breakfast

The room(s); 316 is a suite; were spacious and comfortable and 2 air conditioning units were provided which were really appreciated with temperatures in high 20's during our stay. All the staff were friendly, polite and really helpful.The breakfast range of choice and quality were excellent with the staff happy to provide special items requested.really good location with the extensive Kurpark just across the road and the excellent shopping variety of Bad Homburg in easy walking distance.

Provision of toiletries let down the very high standards. It was limited to just liquid soap, no shampoo, conditioner or hand cream.

The location and the room was very spacious. The service was great too. They accommodated my children just fine.

The mattress was really old, we slept 3 nights and our backs really suffered.. Pillows are huge, fluffy, no idea what to do with them (in their defense, typical German). Some hotels also offer "international pillows".

Top central location. Rooms large, seems like new or recently renovated. Nice terrace. Bed comfortable. Bathroom nice. All very clean. Wifi excellent. Check in and out fast.Convenient parking in hotel's garage at afordable price.Total value for money ok in comparison with other similar objects in BH. To recommend.

I think 4* hotel should have at least a cattle to boil water, if not a coffe machine. Maybe slippers in the room too.

Really nice location and breakfast, big room

In 4 stars hotel it was expected to have AC in the room, especially on the last floor where even in May it was so hot.

Smart, clean and comfortable.Very close to town centre.

No kettle in room.Pillows v hard.

Well located, friendly reception staff, room size and free wifi.

The room was dusty, 1 lamp didn't work, bed sheets had stains, bathroom was not cleaned properly, towels were old and fraying. I put a 'do not disturb sign' on the door and the cleaner came knocking and asking questions.

Good size room with excellent storage space. Modern and new furniture. Comfortable bed.

Parking costs.

everything was okay... nice even....except bedding... Pillows were cheap foarm rubber. Beddding ... duvet cover was nice... but like the pillows the blanket was of inferior quality. Didnt try breakfast... perhaps it is worth 18 euros... but i usually dont eat such pricey meals for breakfast.

Clean, nice interiors, modern bathrooms... staff i met seemed very nice.

Couldn't find the coffee/tea machine.

Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of food to chose from. Staff were attentive.

The parking garage bordered on miserable; very tight spots, leaving minimal room to get in and out of the vehicle.
