Best Western Hotel Jena

It’s classed as 4 stars...

No gym, rooms weren’t the best, was there for 10 days and my bedding didn’t get changed. Got a double bed with a single bed duvet. The food wasn’t amazing, the breakfast was very standard and isn’t worth €16. Also the bathroom sink was next to the bed, which was weird.

Stuff is the best. Always experiencing the reception and restaurant makes me feel at home. I often stay there on the way and feel that even if it is just twice or three times a year, people seem to recognise me, and we come to

Not sure if I actually don't like it… However, it is an old-fashioned design which might not be ok for everyone

Initially the hotel gave me a room away from the lift, which was no good to me, but when I asked them to change it, because I have a pet, they fulfilled my request :-). The breakfast was quite nice, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is a bot outside Jenan city centre, but there are a lot of lawns around the hotel, which was good for my dog. I definitely recommend that hotel.

Beds are very firm

The usual BW standard. Clean, comfy bed, minibar, electric kettle. Professional service (reception & restaurant). Good breakfast. Quiet room.

Nice location, not in the city center (I think??) but great if you are traveling with a dog. A lot of grass, trees around, walking path..top. Kind stuff, we got upgrated ..two familly romes conected together..thank you. Balcony was a big plus. Hotel isn't new and modern but it is clean, spacious and has nice souranding...so no complaint, great value for money.

The room that we got was smelly cigarettes. We asked for a other room.

room was not good, no night lamp in the room and it was quite weird to have the wash basin to wash hand in the bedroom.

Staff is friendly, breakfast is good, Rooms are rather comfortable and it's pretty close to the city. Bonus point that just behind the hotel there is a beautiful walking path in the forest, and it's beautiful back there.

They seem to be quite short staffed as when we arrived and wanted to eat, it took a long time for service. But we noticed that there was only 1 person taking care of all the orders for all the tables, so I can imagine it being quite chaotic. As a last addition, the beds are on the harder side. I personally prefer soft beds, but that's a personal preference.

The staff was friendly.Sauna is a nice treat after a long day. The wellness area on 5th floor is small but fine.

Didn't like might be a little to harsch. I was surprised that half of the bathroom was in the sleeping room. The hand tub was seperated from toilet and bath tub.

Each room has an individual AC that is very quite while it is running.

The room next to me was also occupied and unfortunately I could hear every move of the person in this room.It was as if that person was in the some room as I.

The place was close to the motorway. The room was big. Very comfortable. The restaurant was pleasant and good good.

it was just near the arena, so it was easy to commute, and it was nice that you can use public transport for free

Very old fashioned - sink in room not in bathroom and kitchenette in room.
