Hotel Thüringer Hof

The room is well-located in Jena for business trips. The check-in was smooth. The room was large and had a sofa and small desk. The room was relatively dated, but sufficient for a one-night stay.

The internet connection was so terrible! As I was on a business trip, this was very important to me. Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to do anything that I needed to do.

The room was fab - clean, big, quiet and had all amenities. Bed and shower were good.Parking on site at no extra cost.Location close to the centre so it's easy to walk everywhere.Instructions to get in are very helpful.Breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly.

Clean and comfortable room. Especially nice was the free parking spot behind the house. Check in and check out was super easy. Location was quiet and close to the centre of the town.

Clean room, very good breakfast good coffee and free parking walking to the city not more than 10 minutes.

Hotel could do with a bit of modernising . Not the best value for money. Bed was a bit hard but that’s personal preference

The bed was comfy and bathroom relatively clean.

Although we knew that the reception would be closed when we arrived at 8:30 pm, it seemed almost entirely deserted. No lights, no people, we didn't even hear any other guests! However, the hotel had sent us very clear instructions on how to gain entry and park our car, so we managed to let ourselves in and find our room--which was on the 2nd floor (3rd floor to Americans) with no elevator. The next morning there was a very nice woman serving breakfast, which was plentiful--cereals, yogurt, breads, cheese and meats, juice and a coffee machine. She also checked us out.

Great room, in fact, much more than a room, it was a kitchenette with lots of appliances. The room was very quiet, airy and clean. Everything looked new. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Centrally located, near train stations and sites of interest.

There could have been the option of vegan 'milk' for breakfast. The hotel is in an older building without elevator, but they are clear about that in their online description. I stayed on second floor and was ok for me, but I imagine for those with knee problems it would be very difficult to walk up that many steps, even to 1st floor, especially if carrying luggage.

Car parking and kitchen in the room. Nice value for the money.

For a longer stay, the breakfast would become a bit monotonous.

The room was a bit dated but the beds were good. The room was large plenty of space. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The towels were of good quality. The place is close to the old town center.

The windows looked on the side of the road which could be noisy. (we had them shut)I missed the kettle in the room for a quick cup of coffee or tea. as we arrived quite late after 10 hours of driving.

A very comfortable place in the beautiful historic center of Jena. You can easily explore the city on foot.

Everything was good.

Perfect location, near station and centre. Spatious room, with everything provided, even small kitchenette. Good breakfast, not the standardised 'American' offer. Free parking for your car was very useful too.

It is al very impersonal: reception closes at 2 pm., check-in is via locker (which worked really well), you hardly see any staff (even very few at breakfast). Also: in a hotel you'd expect the room to be made very day: I was surprised by the sheet of paper simply stating that this service 'currently' was not provided.

The room was clean. Very large room. Wifi signal was good.

The room was not cosy at all. Very small bathroom. The bed had no sheets. The floor was very irregular; it felt like the floor had a quite noticeable inclination. The same with the stairs to the room.

Central location yet quiet, breakfast had lots of options from cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit to various breads and plenty of cheese and cold cuts options.What stood out was the excellent communication on how to check in after hours.

A nice large room with a high ceiling. Clean room.. Very convenient location to the train station and buses connecting to the city.The room was facing the backyard and it was rather quiet. Close proximity to many restaurants/food options.

The room has the old vintage charm to it. Spacious, very clean and tidy. The staffs are friendly and also it has a flexible but safe check-in&out procedure.
