The breakfast was very good. Much to chose from, everything was fresh and tasty. Hotel is situated in the nice green valley on the edge of Jena, there is a road in front of it, but it is not very noisy. There is beautiful garden where you can have a meal and beer, or just sit and relax. Hotel restaurant is great, preparing very tasty local cuisine food and their own beer. Staff was professional and friendly. Awesome stay I can really recommend.

I would welcome AC in the room.

Nice building with old traditions of beer brewery, good traditional German restaurant, cleansiness, kind staff, smart TV, regulated heating, good water quality from the tap, nice walk rout nearby, bus stations close to the property

One of the lamps wasn’t working, I had problems to cennect to the wi-fi, no international news channel on TV

Splendid breakfast, comfortable and spacious room, kind stafffacility in a green surrounding

a bit outside, downtown reachable in walking distance

The location was so good. The room was exrtaordinary. And the room service was good too. The bus stop was right infront of the property with frequent buses t o the city centre. The breakfast was good as well. I would be staying here if ever I will be coming back to Jena.

Everything was good, but there could have a kettle to boil the water in case one needs. This is really optional.

Hotel parking was fine

Room furniture was very old, breakfast was suprisingly poor, I would epect better choice considering the price I payed.

The hotel was very charming and a great find compared to price.I walked to town every morning. (15 minutes) via a very nice park setting.Having the brewery/restaurant next-door was great. I only ate in town just to test it. The food 15 meters from the outer door was great.

Nothing negative to say. If I ever visit Zeiss in Jena again, I will go to the same hotel!

Good sized room with a table and a desk. The restaurant is good and offers traditional Thuringian cuisine as well as other options.

Despite me changing the reservation over the phone immediately after spotting a problem, and being assured it was dealt with, it turned out not to be true on arrival. The staff reacted quickly, but it was not necessary. Breakfast was generally not satisfactory, very basic, and not nicely presented. My vegan option (the availability of which I confirmed with the hotel) turned out to be rolls and jam.

Great beers! Good, solid, German food. Nice room, though old-fashioned. Free parking. Convenient.

Communication from the staff when I arrived was not good. I was driving to the property. Apparently, they'd emailed a couple of hours earlier to tell me they would close at 10pm. I arrived at 10.15, very tired, and they were not super-helpful initially. I could have done without the attitude, though the guy eventually apologised and gave me a couple of bottles of beer to bring to the room.

Was a nice and pleasant stay the bus brings you to the city center in no time. Great alternative to a place in the center.

Love the location and restaurant/brewery onsite.
