Hotel L'Europe Colmar, BW Signature Collection

Good but not the best location

The hotel is not close to the historic and enchanting old town. You need a car and then parking in town is expensive.

Clean, hospitable, very nice staff. Restaurant was excellent . Front desk very accommodating.

Not as convenient to downtown Colmar as we had hoped.

It was 13 minutes by car to a parking garage that cost 3 euros for the day and then a 5 min walk into Colmar

The property caters to large business or groups tourists groups.Hotel entrance and lobby have been updated but not all rooms have been done

The room was clean, comfortable bed. So convenient with parking, a lot of space and available for electric car (but need to pay)

Location a bit far from city if you don’t have a car.

We booked a family room and went in (with other experiences of family rooms) in mind that it would be a bit cramped.But to our suprise the 2nd room was even roomier than the main one. Also they deliver quality post service. One of our kids left behind a item and the hotel itself pro-activlubcontacted us what we wanted to do.

The room was big. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was so nice, I didn't want to come from underneath it. ?

Rooms were very nice as was the bath. Lobby and adjoining bar was nice, large, and modern. There were plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast had a very nice selection and there is a nice dining room.

First there is only one small elevator and our rooms were at the very far end of the building making the journey to and from long and tiring. Air conditioning was ok but the temperature was hard to control. One complaint is that the old town part of Colmar is too far and difficult to walk making driving and parking a pain. I also found the desk staff to be very lacking and even though it’s France I expect much more from a supposed 4 star hotel.

The hotel and staff were adequate.

We requested two twin beds and received a room with a king and a single. The one elevator is not centrally located, and we had a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng walk to our room

Completely renovated on the inside - new everything. Room was very nice, big and clean. Large bathroom and the bathtub is a bonus, very nice :) Staff was friendly, 24/7 reception.parking is no problem and free. Didn't try the breakfast, only dinner once. Was good.

Clean and large hotel not far from major car routes. They provided two single beds as I was sharing a room with my son. Friendly reception staff.

Hotel restaurant had a limited menu and staff were not very friendly.There was a very loud wedding reception taking place but that did not impact our bedroom.The aircon did not work properly and our room was very hot!

Great location outside Colmar with buses running to the centre. We walked and it took about 45 minutes each way but was easy and flat. Room was comfortable and facilities were fine. We did have a gurgling air conditioning fan in the room but otherwise, it was very quiet and peaceful. We did not have breakfast in the hotel.

Bar staff go drinks wrong. But understate as the didn’t speak English

The location is way outside downtown and the bus into town was a little limited.

Size of the room, excellent breakfast,friendly staff

Endless corridor to reach the room. The heating did not work and was not strong enough for the room size. It was very cold! The cleaning staff left the roof window open the whole day and the room was freezing and could only be closed by the staff late at night.

Everything went great: we had to book last minute with our dog and we were impressed by the kindness of the staff, by the beautiful room and by the tasty and varied breakfast.

The staff are very well trained and polite.The location. The hotel is not in the historic centre but is fair located if you have a car.The accommodation is clean and well maintained.The parking is free and large.The breakfast is fair. If you have an European taste I believe you will may like it.

The toilet is separated from the bathroom.

The reception staff were very kind and friendly. The room was comfortable, but since the building is old, the ventilation fans in the bathroom and toilet were broken. The free parking lot is conveniently located right in front of the hotel. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, but the staff in the evening were not very friendly. The dish my husband ordered, "Puff pastry with viel and chicken, alsacien noodles" tasted like it had too much salt. However, the dish I ordered, "Scallops with red mullet fish, black rice risotto and vegetables" was very delicious.
