    Pros +

    • The staff were very helpful and assisted my family both with luggage storage, and with how to catch the bus to Colmar downtown Christmas Markets.
    • Onsite parking, and relatively close to Colmar for those who cannot find accommodation closer to town at an affordable price.
    • The room is big and the value for the room is good. The staff is really kind, they gave us recommendations for restaurants and is very friendly.

    Cons -

    • The room's walls were very thin and I got woken multiple times by banging sounds. I also thought the beds were less comfortable than a Hotel Ibis we stayed at in Strausbourg. The staff was stingy with the breakfast offerings. That was too bad.
    • The room was cold, and the shower head was very small, which made it difficult to take a shower.
    • Ultra small room, I have stayed in a lot of IBIS hotels, this place sets a new record. Ultra small bathroom. The shower/bathtub offers no "grab" bar to facilitate movement, it is very dangerous when turning around and getting in and out of the bathtub with wet feet. This hotel is not the only one to overlook this vital piece of equipment, inexpensive to buy and install, you just have to think of it. And here I thought Accor worked tirelessly for the well being, comfort and safety of its clients.Overall, the hotel equipment is aging, one tell was the wear of the elevator buttons, so bad we had to look carefully to avoid making a mistake on our floor selection. Ditto for many other details, I got the impression that they are running the hotel into the ground before spending any money on modernization. The price of this squat box was outrageous, no other way to say it. Higher prices for the Xmas period, OK, but this was pushing the limits. Think "hold up"!

It's a bit out of the centre area so you have to take the bus but the buses run from early morning until late at night so there weren't any inconveniences.

The staff was very helpful, the shower has decent water pressure and kept a consistent temperature. There were two bed pillows per person, and there was adequate parking as well.

The hotel itself if very dark, and poorly lit. The whole building on the inside looked like it could use a good cleaning with soap and water. Lots of stains and beat up furniture. The hallway also reaked of cigarettes even though it's a non-smoking facility. In the room itself, again poor lighting, especially in the bathroom. It was still possible to spot some moldy spots in the corners of the bathroom. The shower wasn't fully enclosed, so of course the bathroom floor got extremely wet while showering. The bed was two smaller beds pushed together with a topper, but that didn't prevent the beds from sliding apart in the middle and we often woke up with a large gap and the matresses hanging off the base. Oddly there was only one outlet in the entire room. They had an extension cord with a multi-outlet box on the end, but it was still away from the mattress, so charging your phone while laying in bed, wasn't an option. Some other comforts were missing as well- No fridge in the room- No air conditioning, only heating- Soap was an all-in-one hand wash, conditioner, and shampoo instead of having specific products (I'd recommend bringing your own)- No ironing board in the room. They have one you can borrow from the desk, but it's in bad shaped with rips and tears on the coverWe had a car to get around. I didn't notice easy public transport in the area. It was about a 10 minute drive to Colmar city centre.

Location was ok, not far from the town

Highly disappointing. We booked 3 rooms, all ended up in the basement which made them extremely humid. Very cold, no proper heating, spiders, not even a tiny fridge. One of the rooms wasn’t even cleaned from the previews guests! We had to ask there times to get new towels after two days( and also only give 1 towel per person so no face or hand towels!). Breakfast was mediocre but several dirty dishes were in the “clean” pile and we had to complain about it daily..

Friendly staff, parking lot available , location ok (not too far from center - less than 10' by car), clean room, breakfast offer good considering was included in the price, in summary good value for the money (considering we were there in high season)

Nothing really bad, bath/shower might need some renovation but anyway clean and working

The room was very nice and cozy, it had a nice window to the garden. I only stayed one night...the staff was super friendly.

The door of the bathroom was a bit inconvenient when opening it and the area where the big mirror was, was missing a bit of light.

We were looking for a hotel not far away from Colmar with parking available for our roadtrip in Alsace and the hotel provided this. Staff was really kind.

The hotel building is quite old and needs renovation. There were quite some defects in the rooms that show how old it is and would need to be fixed. Isolation is not very good as we could hear other guests in their rooms and we had a room next to the stairs and we could hear people going in and out the stairs as the door was opening and closing.

The birds song in front of my window. It was a really simphony at 5 AM. Really enjoy it!

-the restaurant is not very well organized-the rooms are outdated and very small, the window couldn t close properly-the staff is not so well prepared

    Very friendly staff.... Decent breakfast!

The bathroom was not so clean und the toilet was flashing the water everywhere!

    1AyşenPosted on: 5-4-2025

    Nothing else

Dirty rooms spiders net and noise, breakfast and there is no shower cabin everywhere water while taking shower. They placed a dehumidifier in the room to dry out the water. I asked why the room differentt from booking photos they said the photos are just illustrasyon terrible hotel

    6BoudijnPosted on: 5-2-2025

    Nice room, not too bad

Room got quite hot, and the beds had thick sheets on it. Together with a flat pillow made it not the best night rest...

    8SnehalPosted on: 5-2-2025

Great location. Large parking area with free parking. Lot of games in the reception area. Decent food in the restaurant.

    Rooms were a bit small.

Good location and easy check-in. We had an issue with breakfast availability and the team was very helpful.

Breakfast wasn't up to the standard promised both in quality and quantity.

Room was very clean and confortable, excellent breakfest.

Bed has a cover that we removed for sleep better

Bad Hotel , the room was so bad in the basement, broken toilet with water leaking , smell of damp , the bathroom looks so bad with an open shower and water all overflowing on the bathroom floor. All the rooms on the basement had a bad smell due to the dampness.

    5DenizPosted on: 4-16-2025

The beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was okay.

The family room was small, worn out, old fashioned and cold. We had to use electric heating. It was a depressing room.

    8KoushikPosted on: 4-10-2025

Great rooms, Affordable, Excellent staff The location is outside the city but for the price it's not bad

    8Jean-jacquesPosted on: 4-7-2025

    Calm, open air

When I put the address in my GPS, it drives me to another IBIS in the main town with the same address ?. When I suggested to that hotel that they could inform their management about this issue, they swore at me, saying it is not their responsibility! When I explained this at the right place, the host explained the situation to me, saying that I am not the first one to encounter this problem. Perhaps to avoid this comical situation, a message at the reservation step could be sent to clarify which address is the correct one.
