Location … directly on the beach with access to either the pool and/or the sea! Always a lounger available at either location. The hotel is situated just north of Taormina and you can easily drive or take a 2 Euro coach bus to Taormina from Letojanni (which is a 10 minute walk away).

The mattress needs an update. Other than that, all good!

Breakfast was ok, the receptionist when we arrived was rude, continuing to chat with her friend when we had just arrived and she could tell I wanted to ask her something. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star, 3 star at best

Rude receptionist ignoring us, lack of plugs in room, cheap shower cubicle, slippery bathroom floor, our room looked out onto an eyesore of an old car park area, fridge ran very hot, had to take key out of lights to open/close the safe. Long walk partly in the dark on the road to the restaurants. Beach goes down sharply, in sea, not suitable for small children . The hotel is generally run down.

The breakfast was delicious. The breads are especially very good. Those who want to relax should come here, because it is a peaceful and quiet place,but everything is close and easily accessible.The room would be nice to have a renovation.The garden is very beautiful!

It was in the water.

Very very Dated. 70s vibe, but old not classic. Like nothing had been updated. Not the hallway carpets, shower heads and worse the mattresses. Just dingy. They can easily lean into the vibe and update the dirty dingy.

Perfect location with sea views and a spacious veranda, everything was very clean, and the staff were very friendly.

The breakfast could have been more varied, and the mattress wasn't very comfortable.

We loved the hotel, very luxurious, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The managers/supervisors are really on the ball in regards to customer satisfaction. It sits exactly on the beach. We upgraded our room. The balcony and views of taormina were amazing.

Just that we couldn't get a kettle for our room even after asking reception. We would have happily paid extra for it. And I'm not a fan of the artificial grass around the pool. I think stone or tile would look much better. It takes away from the rest of it. The rest of the hotel looks 4 star, the patches of artificial grass look 1 star. I think it's very out of place in an otherwise beautiful hotel.

Beach and sea were both excelent as well as personel and service.

Very nice pool and easy access to the beach. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and lovely waiters. The view from the hotel room balcony was exactly what we wanted.

Mattress on the bed was quite hard.We had no rental car, so we had to use taxi to get to Taormina city. So moving around was a bit expensive. Taxi driver was doing great service though and we used the same company through the vacation.

I loved this old fashioned hotel. It was kept sparkling clean and felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. Our huge balcony hung right over the sea and even with the doors closed the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the waiters were knowledgeable about gluten-free and genuinely kind. The pool was nice and there was an attentive lifeguard at the sea.

Just out of habit I would have liked to have had a kettle in the room. There wasn’t any information in the room about the facilities, but maybe it was on the tv that we never turned on. But these are minor details.

The hotel is cozy, quiet and at an excellent location right at the beach. All the staff members and especially Andre at the reception were very helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good. The views from the room towards the sea and Taormina were unbelievable!

Being next to the sea with a large balcony looking out to sea was great. We spentmany hours on the balcony enjoying the view. (It was helped by the fact the balcony was in shade from lunchtime onwards when the day was at its hottest. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The fridge was invaluable in the hot weather. The only aspect for improvement for us would have been to include coffee/tea making facilities.The position of the hotel overlooking its own private beach was great and Letojanni itself was also good. It is on both the main railway line up and down the east coast with good bus connections too. The only potential problem is that the train station and bus stopping points were at the other end of the town about half an hour's walk from the hotel., but this is not a problem if you are reasonably fit. Letojanni has an extensive, uncrowded and mostly sandy beach with many cafe's and eating places along the front, generally at very reasonable prices. Taormina is only a few minutes away on the bus which is definitely worth visiting, but, in contrast, it is very expensive and very busy compared with Letojanni.We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Coffee/tea making facilities in the room would be an improvement (though these were available from the bar downstairs)/

The location was stunning and right on the beach.The staff were excellent and very helpful and obliging. The pool was great and very clean.

We like eating at our hotel in evening after a day out sightseeing so we did eat twice in the hotel restaurant, however we’re not really fish eaters and the menu was almost entirely fish dishes. If there was a bit more variety for meat lovers and vegetarians that would be great.

Food: Breakfast was poor, food choice/taste in restaurant for lunch/dinner was also unsatisfying as for 4-star Italian hotel. Disgusting coffee.Room: Room was dark and somehow me and my husband ended in twin room with few broken tiles on the floor. You can hear your neighbors every movement. I confirm other reviews about old furniture.Service: I’d appreciate a service with at least some knowledge of English.

First the staff is fabulous! Accommodating and attentive. The location and view is spectacular. Vintage step back in time to old Sicily. The breakfast is excellent as is the restaurant. The location is convenient to Castelmola, Taormina and Mt Etna.

Perhaps a larger refrigerator.

Good breakfast. Nice spacious and clean room. Good toiletries. Sunbeds and umbrella included in the price of the room and provided beach towels. Within a short walk from Letojanni. Would stay again.

The hotel is a bit dated. Could do with some new decoration and painting. The room is just missing a kettle!
