The people at the desk were wonderful—helpful and kind. Enjoyed the location in the center of a beautiful town. Breakfast was delicious.

Our room was lovely. But there wasn’t a small refrigerator, mainly for water. All in all, very, very nice!

We chose this place at a short notice. It turned out to be a great place to stay. We were switched a room because of a non working AC (see below). The next room was fine. It was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was excellent.

They hade some issues with air conditioning heating. They were in the middle of renewing there air conditioner throughout the hotel though.The beds mattress could see some improvement as well.

Had a nice breakfast and the hotel was clean and in a nice spot. As an overnight stay it was great.

Location and staff. We were in center of Chianti, able to do day trips to different places of our interests, and return in the evening to this quaint small village with the most memorable sunsets because of its location. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We rented 2 rooms, one of our family members had to depart at 2 am, and the made a breakfast bag for my relatives so that they had something to eat and drink on way out. Will never forget that extra touch.

Breakfast to basic, no interior soundproofing. The air conditioner sometimes it will not work at all and after communication had to be reset back to work only from them.

A beautiful, historic property, situated in a lovely little town. The room was very well appointed, comfortable and luxurious. The staff were all wonderful, really kind and caring. Use of the underground pool was a bonus for our stay in April.

In April I can say it’s such a beautiful and calmplace to be, very relaxing. Small but nice spa area, stunning surroundings and some good restaurants nearby. But I understand it gets busy during the summer, so I don’t know how relaxing it is then :) Special thanks to the guy at the reception on our last day who recommended to visit Montefioralle - we would have missed that but thanks to him we saw this small gem as well!

They adversities the spa, but it’s actually not included. You need to pay an extra 25€ per person to use it, and the spa is not located in the hotel directly. Also, the staff could be more friendly. No smile, when you ask a question you seem to bother them. For a 4star hôtel, it would be more appropriate to have a polite and friendly staff.

Two keys would be helpful

Cluster of buildings all with the same owners so we had access to the indoor pool, wonderful breakfast and gorgeous old sitting rooms. Parking for us was very easy in February.

It is a little confusing on where to go for check in because they have one reception covering many buildings and that reception has a different name than our hotel.

The staff is lovely and gave us a very heartwarming welcome. The room was very comfortable and charming, with an amazing view.They went the extra mile and surprised us with a bottle of wine to celebrate Christmas.We loved the experiences at the restaurant and the Spa.

The wi-fi in the room was not the best and oscillated a bit, other than that, there is nothing negative that I can think of about my experience there.My only recommendation is to go there by car or taxi. The bus is a possibility, but not very flexible with only a few departures by day.

The bed was a bit too hard for me. Shower could have been more powerful. The friend who had a room to himself at the top of the hotel was not provided with any tea & coffee facilities, we should have probably said something but he just came down to ours if he wanted a cup of tea.
