    Pros +

    • Loved the staff. They were accommodating and welcoming. We also got to enjoy a pizza night with other guests, the food was great and it was a great way to meet other guests.
    • Rooms, facilities and staff
    • The property is absolutely beautiful and the views are just stunning. Delicious breakfast. Location is perfect to visit the Chianti area and villages nearby.

    Cons -

    • I wish they had transportation to local wineries just in case you don’t want to drink and drive while you’re there.
    • Pool not heated
    • The hotel has a common area /kitchen. Would have been great to have a few non alcoholic drinks available there instead of having to go back to the room to get from the free minibar.

Absolute perfection: the location, the facilities, the room and quality of it, the food (best breakfast we had in a while at a hotel), the dinner, the staff - it was a bliss. We love hidden from crowds boutique hotels and this was one of our best stays ever. Thank you!!

    Nothing. It was perfect.

Staff were terrific every single one of them.

We stayed 5 nights and now that it’s dark by 6:00;pm and the hotel is isolated, roads are very treacherous so we found having the same limited menu for 5 days wanting.Art on the walls and rooms tedious

It’s hard to tell what I like the most. I could say the room, because is beautiful and very comfortable. But then we tried the food and we felt in love, everything was perfect and well prepared. Not to mention the staff from the reception to the restaurant everyone was kind and warm.

The moment that we said goodbye.

Breakfast had a good variety of options.

Extremely overpriced and under delivered. Not personable. Spoke French when greeted Poor picnic service (poor ingredients, no rug provided) Dinner services and menu was average quality, overpriced and not Italian Style.Had to shorten our stay by 2 days due to family emergency and was not given any form of reimbursement. Wasn’t even able to speak to anyone or given a reply just a not possible Not your usual Tuscan experience of Tuscan Staff didn’t try to make our stay any better given it was our 5th anniversary. We have stayed at other accommodations half the price and were treated much better and felt a lot more comfortable

Idyllic, postcard like ambience and nature everywhere - the gardens, the hills - its smack in Toscany Chianti so... ;)Oh, the food was amazing too, get a book and chill on a subbed below the olive trees.

All was good! The air-con was a bit inefficient, but good enough!

maybe a little better parking place ?

Absolutely beautiful hotel, extremely friendly staff, exquisite food and stunning room!

The only downside was the fact that we could hear our neighbors in the room next door.

I recently stayed at Pieve Aldina Hotel in Tuscany, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is beautifully situated in the Tuscan countryside, offering stunning views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The rooms are charming and well-equipped, providing both comfort and a touch of rustic elegance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for local attractions. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a highlight, with delicious Tuscan dishes and an impressive selection of regional wines. The outdoor areas, including the pool and gardens, are perfect for relaxation. Pieve Aldina Hotel truly embodies the essence of Tuscany, making it a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

Great location with lovely country views and interesting walks. The grounds of the hotel and it’s location are superb. Staff helpful and friendly

Small point a bamboo rug under are bed was very uncomfortable to walk on

Beautiful hotel and location, the staff is very attentive and the food is amazing- a culinary discovery of tuscany.

The breakfast, the location, the staff - it was an exceptional stay in Tuscany. Exceeded our expectations. Was such a peaceful retreat and we wish we had stayed longer!

The windy roads leading up to the hotel, on the flip side you are in the heart of Chianti region :)

Exceptional stay in a wonderful 5 star hotel, recently refurbished hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful which made our stay incredible. We came to celebrate a special occasion and we had a nice surprise at arrival, we were upgraded to a suite.Breakfast was amazing.I would love to stay at Pieve Aldina again

Very stylish, comfortable, clean… perfect to true leisure day

Mosquitoes but not really under hotel responsibility :)

Brand new, beautifully renovated and very clean! Location was amazing.

The hotel restaurant, where we ate the first evening was disappointing. The room was cold, lighting was bad, and food was small quantities and mediocre. Also, when asking for water in the room (we were informed that we could not drink the tap water) it was charged.

To be honest we had much better breakfasts at some B&B during our trip ti Italy than we had at the Aldina. It was definitely not the level you expect at Relais&Chateaux property. Strawberries for examples were lay on the buffet not cleaned, so I had to cut greens from them to eat with my yogurt. Or there was one kind of old dry cheese in the cheese section. If you missed some pastries they finished, no top ups. Nobody offered us eggs, the only option was to boil it yourself. Kitchen was too noisy, in the main restaurant you always hear sounds of glass, cutlery moving around or running water. we observed when personnel arrived to the kitchen in their own clothes, very casually, they move back and forth from the restaurant to the kitchen and back. Through the open door you could see buckets, mops and other cleaning staff. That was really strange. The backdoor of the kitchen was at same spot as a reception so you could see all the deliveries etc. I think it wasn't a good planning idea. Waiter's English was very poor and it was problematic as we don't speak Italian or French. Few times I had to ask change plate and fork as they had stains. We also had a dinner there. Our table and two table next to us ordered lamb fillet from the menu and the dishes looked soo different, somebody had huge bones, somebody like myself a bit overcooked pieces of lamb. My husband had a rabbit, but it was very strange dish, I liked the garden salad though.

I love the location and view. The room design was excellent and all the amenities, facilities were decent. The only thing we couldn't turn AC on, it was central controlled and always on a fan mode. I couldn't switch to cool mode so it was hot in the night. We could charge our electric car there and we are grateful for that. I also saw a group of deers in the night.
