What did you like about the property? We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was incredibly beautiful, cozy, and full of charm — one of the most memorable rooms we’ve stayed in. The breakfast was also exceptional: fresh, delicious, and served in such a lovely setting. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, which made our experience even better. This is truly our favorite hotel on this trip.
The surrounding area was wonderful, nature everywhere.Rooms are excellentBreakfast was delicious and many varietiesShops around the hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa in Radda di Chianti. The location in the heart of Tuscany is simply magnificent, and the staff could not have been more helpful, from check-in to arranging a driver to take us to a wedding venue. Our room exceeded expectations, beautifully blending the charm of the historic Palazzo with modern amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the wine tasting, which was both educational and enjoyable, and we came away with a deeper appreciation for the wines of the region, including the renowned Super Tuscans.Breakfast each morning was a delight for both the eyes and the palate, with a wide variety of options. The smoked salmon was an unexpected and welcome treat in Italy. The panoramic views from the property were breathtaking, adding to the sense of being in a truly special place. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Palazzo Leopoldo to anyone visiting Tuscany. And I highly recommend Radda as a stop on your Tuscan escape.
This was such a cute town! The hotel was minutes from so many great restaurants. We couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfy and the views were SO BEAUTIFUL! I’m so happy we added this stop to our Italy vacation.
Not much, or better to say apart from the physical location of hotel at Radda in Chianti there is nothing to say.
Where to start. We arrived late in the evening, night Portier present, or better to say not present. When he finally showed up, no English, like zero and horrible facial expressions just because we wanted to check in. Apologies for paying for your salary with our presence sir. Room was located literally beside reception which wouldn't be a problem if for some reason, from one of millions doors in room would often come very loud disturbing noise! Also, bathroom doors are SO loud, when opening and closing that I'm surprised that other guests didn't hear them, nevertheless your partner in room. If you go to toilet you're both awake, 100%! And bare in mind, this is their best room, "junior suit" with spa access.Cleaning! Or better to say, lack of it. Shocking to even write that after 3 days I had to go to reception and ask if towels will ever be changed, or bins emptied or something, to get response like it's my first time in hotel that towels have to be on floor to be replaced. Well, news for you KAREN, they don't! If towels are used they should be replaced daily. We took 2 plates to room after breakfast, and left the room, returned late in evening to find those same plates still on table with toast and butter and cheese after room was cleaned?!Also shocking lack of attention to guests from reception with zero questions about our stay, especially on check out where instead of usual questions about our stay only words after I handed in the key was - you need to pay tax changes! No problem KAREN!Anyway, 4 stars is a dream for that hotel, truly
The room was spacious, bathroom a bit cramp but well organized. The breakfast buffet was really good and the staff are super friendly. We stayed for two nights, could have easily spend another few days in the Chianti area.
We were looking forward to the use of the pool, but that was 5 kilometers by car to another hotel of the same chain. We did go but we would of course have preferred to have the pool with the hotel - perhaps we should have investigated this more beforehand as the property is in the center of the miniscule medieval village. The indoor pool is more a family jacuzzi that needs to be reserved.
Lovely rooms and very nice staff. Good location - lovely overall
Lots and lots of stairs - part of the charm. The attic room was a little oppressive with low ceilings and a lack of windows but still very nice. The other rooms were nicer in our opinion but super minor comment. Don’t be put off by it.
We loved the property ? located in a palazzo it gives a feeling of living history, at the same time, it was super comfortable, very clean, and cozy. Breakfast was delicious. Loved everything about this hotel and Radda
The bathroom toiletries could be better, include cream, bathrobes.
Everything.Believe me when I say I cried when we left. It was a hidden little gem, an oasis of calm energy. The staff was super polite, especially Eduardo at the spa and Georgetta at the cleaning, also the front desk was always very very polite and helpful tips! the town amazing . I hope we will come back again.
the place is unique and have a special atmosphere. The rooms are basic and sufficient. the bathroom is spotlessly clean. the breakfast was very good; it was tasty with lots of varieties.we would not recommend the dinner menu; it was not worth the cost.
the rooms which are on the main street side are noisy due to the adjacent bar activity. we couldn't sleep as the talking and laughing were very loud. we asked the reception to change the room, and they did it on the next morning without further delays. the rest of the rooms are very quiet.
Quiet room, a little dark, good breakfast although fresh orange juice would be better
The "indoor pool" was a disappointment - more of a large bath and not very heated
Helpful staff, good breakfast
The water is running through the pipes all night long quite loudly and this is really anoying. It went on for all 4 nights of our stay. The spa is a bit outdated.
We loved the medieval buildings and architecture, as well as the aerial views from the terrace and town hill. The hotel offered beautiful rooms, exceptional hospitality, and delicious Italian food. The private pool felt exclusive, and we appreciated the friendliness of the locals.
Breakfast may be richer. The air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms, and the pool requires some renovation. Although we had access to the spa, no one explained how to use it or encouraged us to enjoy the facilities. We also confirmed our dinner reservation, but we had to follow up on it ourselves. Outdoor jacuzzis were not available, even though they could have been.
The room was lovely, and peaceful. The breakfast was really good.
There are three buildings and it would be helpful if you were told which one you should go to. 33 is the address although there is a sign for the hotel which looks like an entrance before.
We enjoyed our stay - the junior suite is designed nicely with a perfect mix of old classic details and ultra-modern bathroom. The bed is comfortable, you have stunning views of Tuscan hills from your room. You have a good variety of choice at the breakfast.
Just one thing - please put the signs inside the property, ex “room 9-11”, “restaurant”, “spa”, etc and arrows of direction. There are numerous rooms, stairs, doors - very easy to get lost)
Great place great town Great stuff great spa , good breakfast everything great.
