Very clean. Hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Lovely view of the lake.

The hotel is easy to find from the train station because it's almost next door, but there is very little else immediately around the hotel. Getting into town without a car requires a significant walk.

The staff was excellent, very helpful.Great room with a large porch and an amazing view of the lake.The hotel is located on the main road, right in front of the train station yet it was very quiet inside.Finally a hotel with good lighting!The hotel has a very good restaurant.Location - perfect. Easy to get to from Milan by train.We had a very enjoyable stay.Hope to come back soon.

It was one night stop on the route, but the quality of hotel was not as expected, specially having in mind the price. Stuff was very professional and welcoming. The restaurant in lobby serves very nice food in a very nice atmosphere.

The rooms on photos and in live looks like pictures are made 20 years ago, everything is near the collapse condition and outdated. The shower barely worked, the doors to bathroom are not closing properly and the hairdryer is definitely 15 years old. Hotel is near busy road, so you can't open window. Overpriced place to stay.

Only critism and its not the hotel buts uts next to a very busy road so although it's quiet inside the hotel you cannot sit outside fir a drink in the evening etc

I stayed at this hotel for two nights as I was traveling for work. The venue I worked at was 8 mins away and I got there by taxi. The hotel is just next door to Dormelletto train station and it has its own restaurant and bar so you really don't even need to leave to have a nice meal or a coffee. The food at the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast was really good and the staff is attentive and kind. Overall a great short stay and being able to catch the train after a 2 min walk is super handy if you're not traveling by car.

The bathroom facilities are a bit old (shower especially), could do with a bit of renovation. There's not much else to do around the hotel, Lake Maggiore is more beautiful elsewhere.

Next to the train station made it easy to get to Milan. Breakfast was nice, coffee was good.

Air con didn't work and the room was too hot as a result. To be fair we didn't complain so can't say whether the staff knew about it

I thought I booked a different room, so the decor was a little outdated. But it served its purpose so all in all good.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms looked recently renovated. Very very close to the train station which made access to and from the hotel easy. Restaurant was busy and food was great value. Looks like a family run hotel/restaurant. Nice views of the lake from the verandah. Good to enjoy a drink/snacks. Good value/price compared to nearby areas. Shops nearby, although a bit of a walk along a main road.

Isn’t as touristy as the other places. Can still get to places like Stresa but takes a little planning. Most of the tours/activities start from further north. There is a park across the road although access to the lake is limited. No kettle in room. Verandahs are only separated by small see through bushes.

Breakfast can be slightly better

We loved our stay. The room was facing to the street but there was no street noise in the room.We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. The food was good and service very kind.

Good location, super clean room that had everything we needed. Great bar & restaurant. We ate dinner two nights & it was good value & tasty. Attentive staff. Breakfast included, is a real treat …great selection help yourself buffet. Plenty of parking. Nice chilled & relaxed stay.

The shower cubicle was a little small for 6ft 2in husband. There is road & railway noise due to the hotels location but to be honest we soon tuned out & slept really well.

Nice room alittle far out from airport 30 minutes out from malpensa airport very nice lake close by.

Mosquito's in the room

Very clean and comfortable room, but small. We were just for night (literally), because came at 01.00 am and nigh portier wait us, so we just slept and take a breakfast. Beds were comfortable, sheets are new, everywhere was clean , and very good breakfast, so we had a good stay. Nearby big zona commerciale with shops and restaurants, so location is good.

A bit smll rooms

Breakfast - very basic but great selection of delicious pastries - hot food was questionable and not very good. But staff very attentive and helpful overall - their English is a little broken and don't always understand what you're saying but they try your best and are very helpful

Photos of rooms on booking.com suggest that they have been updated and are more modern but this is not the case the rooms are older and a bit tired still clean and tidy but not like the new photos suggest this feels a bit miss leading cant comment if there is a room that looks like this as all we saw were older style ones. Very limited parking
