Pros +
- Easy acces after reception had closed. Room was perfect and very clean
- The district is very beautiful. The hotel building and the interiors are charming. Everything is in early 1900-s style. Very friendly staff. Easy access to the city center by tram. In case of shortage of parking space, free parking is available on the streets around.
- The Hotel very quickly responses on your e-mails and is very cooperative. As I was traveling to Dresden by car (it was a one-night business trip) and the reservation was made less than one week before my stay, it was a need to have a parking spot at the hotel. It is not free of charge (I was informed) but the Hotel agreed to leave my car for three hours after my check-out. Of course, the room, corridors and restaurant are clean and the personel is super nice. Additionaly I was given a nice gift at check out :) For people who are not travelling by car - tram and bus stops connecting to the city centre are less than 100m from the hotel.
Cons -
- Someone may find the beds too soft. The internet connection may not be everywhere stable. Since the building is old, the sound insulation is not always perfect.
- A breakfast was over-priced, I was full and happy to eat it but I expected more because of an amount of money I paid for it. I was a bit disappointed of receiving texts in German (despite having texted them in English) and I had to ask my partner to translate. The staff was nice & helpful but the communication could be better (they did not answer the mail we had sent and had to call them directly about the time of arrival and check-in guidelines).
- It is on a busy junction with traffic - streetcars, trains, cars, emergency services using it ALL the time, including through the night. It was a very hot night and we needed to open the Windows. However, as our room was directly into this junction, it was then so noisy we could hardly sleep!!! Never again a room into a busy street!

The location is perfect, just next to the bus station, room style is classic that I liked the most, also super clean and comfortable, reception staffs are super kind and nice,I got a Christmas kitchen made gift when checked out,I really appreciate it,it is absolutely an awesome staying??
The building is cute, we got a huge comfy room, the space was quiet, excellent for a weekend. We got a small gift on check-out. It was possible to book a parking space. The location is easy to get everywhere walking or to catch a tram..

A nice hotel, a clean spacious room, comfortable bed and easy self check-in (they don't have a 24/7 reception). Overall a very private independent experience with accommodation, excellent if you value your privacy.
It’s a beautiful building on a lovely street full of such a period of buildings

Great location Fan in a roomFridge and microwave
There was a water leak in my shower (it was dripping from the ceiling), but the staff handled it during the day No AC
A lovely stay and beautiful room
Expected it to be moreCentral location but easy to use public transportarion
Beautiful old building. Friendly staffLarge roomGood connection to city Center by bike through a huge park.
Location at busy crossroads, with lots of noise during night. Rooms too hot to sleep well
The hotel was lovely, very clean and had character. It is near to a tram stop offering frequent services to the centre. Our room came equipped with a small kitchen which was useful for making drinks and using the fridge (there is a small cleaning charge if you want to actually cook in it). Excellent breakfast.Other reviews complain about the noise and the hotel is situated on a corner with passing trams and traffic. However, despite having a room to the front of the building and keeping our windows open at night, we did not find it intrusive. Also, some reviews comment on the heat. By keeping the main curtains drawn and windows open , we did not find it overly hot. We are not used to a/c at home though and can appreciate that others may be uncomfortable.
There are limited food options in walking distance of the hotel. There is a restaurant under separate ownership/management within the hotel property. We used it twice. The first time for drinks only which was fine. As a result we decided to dine there that evening, It took over an hour for our food to arrive and required us to ask where it was. The main courses arrived before the starter (which we declined), My meal of chicken gyros was overpriced for what it was and had little chicken and a poor salad. No apologies were given for the delays, I would not recommend
Very good looking building. Comfortable bed. Clean rooms.
The WiFi was not working during our stay. Unfortunately the staff did not tell us about this at the check in. We really needed the internet for work related reason. After asking the staff about it they told us that they already knew about this issue and would fix it in the future. They didn't offer us any alternative. For this price we were expecting at least some basic connection.
Great Building. Good room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. No problem with parking on the Street. Water in bottles in the room.
Nothing to complain.
Delightful, characteristic Dresden hotel away from the noise and crowds of the tourist areas, a short tram ride from the old restored city centre and within reach of the attractive outer zones along the River Elbe and Neustadt. Friendly , helpful, welcoming staff. An excellent hotel to stay at for a break in Dresden.

I have stayed in this hotel on several occasion and have always been welcomed by great staff, there is a good selection for breakfast and the rooms are cleaned to a good standard, there is easy tram access into the town
I would prefer a double bed over the single I was given, but no real complaints from my stay there
Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great breakfast and a lovely room. The hotel is easy to reach on public transport.
Breakfast was plentiful and very German.
They charged for the water bottle in the room 3 Euro. The person in line in front of me at check out they charged €3 for the tea she made herself in the room
Everything was great. Staff very friendly, great location that's easy to get to by tram and bus. Breakfast had lots of variety. The kitchen staff makes sure you are adequately fed.
Can't think of anything.
Lot of room, good parking option for electric car, good breakfast
Nothing to complain
